What You'll Do as a Filler Operator on 2nd Shift:
As a Filler Operator, you'll be the mastermind behind the magic, ensuring each container is filled to perfection. From operating filling equipment and conducting quality checks, to shutting down the equipment and preparing it for sanitary cleaning and maintenance, your attention to detail will be a critical part of our production process.

The Ice Cream Filler Operator is responsible for ensuring optimum quality products through the operation of the filler of various product families following regulatory standards, ensuring the product is clean and sterile.
Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line.
Operates freezer and ingredients distribution feeder.
Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.
Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
Make adjustments to filler timing and filling, & check mat as needed.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
Collect required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing.
Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
Will have working knowledge and experience with labeler operations; watching for jams and effectively threading wrap to prevent downtime due to error.
Perform filler and filler line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
Complete cleaning checklist once line has completed run.
Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed.
Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information.
Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Description
This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
This position requires a current valid State driver's license. Must supply own tools for minimum maintenance. Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools. Requires 1 year of industrial mechanical experience. PM on equipment, oil changes, greasing, repairing or replacing semi tires, brake repair or replacement on semi - trucks and trailers, and minimum 1 year experience operating cutting torch and electric welder. May perform air brake, electrical and air conditioning work. Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Must be able to read and understand assignments. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The starting pay $19.80/hr
This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas and, assembling and disassembling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Rinse equipment with high pressure hot water systems
Apply cleaning chemicals to equipment walls, ceilings, floors, drains with a products.
Scrub equipment with cleaning chemicals.
Lift parts to tear down / set up equipment or to properly store.
Climb ladders / steps to clean overhead areas
Assures sanitation quality by adhering to company cleaning polices.
Must be able to remember hiding spots and niche areas that exist on all equipment
Must be able to spot/locate any deficiencies during pre-op inspections.
Must be willing and able to work with hazardous chemicals (Caustics/Acids)
Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly
Ability to stand and walk on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
Must work in cold/hot temperatures
Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling
Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently
Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs

Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
