    Provides overall leadership to the Bakery team. Responsible for all aspects of daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance and special projects as assigned. Accountable for Team Member hiring, development, corrective actions and separations. Experience * 24+ months retail experience including 12+ months of team leadership experience. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions * Must be able to lift 50 pounds. * In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours. * Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. * Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching. * Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals. * Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit. * Ability to work in wet and dry conditions. * Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery. * May require use of ladders. Scales: Make sure all scales are operating correctly, calibrating scales, and making sure we have summing boards and load cells for all of them. Also making sure the annual inspection is complete. Baggers: Performing PM's and making sure these machines are in good working order. Rytek and Dynaco doors: Perform PMs on these doors controls, making sure all work properly. X-Ray: Responsible for the X-ray functioning correctly and calibrating every morning. Turning in check sheet every day. Metal Detectors: Making sure all metal detectors are operating properly. Also making sure the annual inspection is completed. Robot: Responsible for the Robot PM's and that it is working properly. Magnet pull test: Complete 6 Month pull test, documenting test, and turn it into the Maintenance Manager. Printers and Labelers: Responsible for making sure all printers and Labelers are functioning properly, rebuilding what we can, and letting Parts Cage know when to send out for repair. Weight certifications: Making sure all weights are certified annually. PLC, HMI's, and Variable Speed Drives: Responsible for updating all newer versions of PLC, HMI's, and variable speed drives. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Training beyond high school including either an Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training. Experience: 4+ years of automation experience and/or industrial maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI configuration, and control systems. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; must have strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques. Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance. Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members. Special Skills: Must possess the ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel; critical thinking and problem solving skills; with strong interpersonal skills. Certification: Certifications in any technical field or techniques is a plus. Supervisory: NA Travel: 1-5 trips per year outside of assigned location.
