JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Maintain and perform preventative maintenance activities on ammonia refrigeration systems · Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records · Observe and test system operation, using gauges, and instruments · Dismantle, assemble, and install refrigeration equipment · Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production · Ensure all repairs are documented. Complete all paperwork clearly, legibly, and accurately with required information. Document all required information in accordance with standard operations procedures. · Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to supervisor · Assist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime · Stay up to date on new products, equipment, technology and techniques · Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes · Exhibit the ability to anticipate parts requirements for the tasks, follow proper purchasing procedures, and acquire parts ahead of anticipated task performance · Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues · Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements · The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Assists with the scheduling and supervision of Team Members as well as with the day-to-day flow of the department. Oversees and maintains compelling Produce, coffee, and juice displays. Supports the Produce Team Leader and Associate Team Leader(s) to ensure smooth operation of the Produce Team. Job Skills * Extensive knowledge of Produce team procedures and policies. * Strong demonstrated organizational and time management skills. * Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills. * Capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner. * Product knowledge. * Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures. * Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory. * Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate. * Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications. Experience * 12+ months retail experience. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions * Must be able to lift 50 pounds. * In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours. * Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. * Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching. * Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals. * Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit. * Ability to work in a wet and cold environment. * Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
