REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or GED preferred
* Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal

GENERAL PURPOSE
Complete proper clean up and sanitation tasks to ensure optimum quality products. Ensure products and processes are clean and sterile by following regulatory standards and established Company policies and procedures.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assemble and disassemble equipment for proper cleaning/sanitizing per manufacturer instructions
* Operate the CIP (clean-in-place) system to clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and pipelines
* Complete basic preventive maintenance of gaskets, seals, "O" rings, plates, etc., on all product contact surfaces as needed by the Master Sanitation Schedule
* Complete record keeping items such as, but not limited to, identifying cleaning cycle times on charts, measuring cleaning concentration, examining flow rates, assessing heat up temperature, and sanitizing by chemical strengths
* Perform the basic housekeeping to include clean floors, walls, ceiling, air vents, lights, etc., of the plant, equipment, and exterior of all equipment
* Accomplish pre-operations check on all product contact surfaces including pumps, valves, agitators, alcoves, and clamps before starting up
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
* Collect required samples needed for quality assurance testing
* Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
* Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
* Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
* Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
* Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is 64,479 - 105,272 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation. * Prepare and discuss production plan with Production Supervisors on a weekly/daily basis.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assemble and disassemble equipment for proper cleaning/sanitizing per manufacturer instructions
· Operate the CIP (clean-in-place) system to clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and pipelines
· Complete basic preventive maintenance of gaskets, seals, “O” rings, plates, etc., on all product contact surfaces as needed by the Master Sanitation Schedule
· Complete record keeping items such as, but not limited to, identifying cleaning cycle times on charts, measuring cleaning concentration, examining flow rates, assessing heat up temperature, and sanitizing by chemical strengths
· Perform the basic housekeeping to include clean floors, walls, ceiling, air vents, lights, etc., of the plant, equipment, and exterior of all equipment
· Accomplish pre-operations check on all product contact surfaces including pumps, valves, agitators, alcoves, and clamps before starting up
· Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
· Collect required samples needed for quality assurance testing
· Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
· Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Oversee the entire process of receiving, processing, and packaging, to include limited warehouse operations. •Manage employees' performance through establishing expectations, holding people accountable and developing a sense of urgency understanding when addressing operational needs or problems.
•Completes and follows up on production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, and monitoring progress.
•Participate in activities such as training and safety programs to enhance the overall effectiveness of the work area involved.
•Monitor the performance of the equipment to ensure product results are within customer specifications. Correct and report deviations to Management.
•Review and execute company KPI's with Plant Management.
•Review product quality with Plant Management.
•Supervise training of new personnel.
•Review product quality with Management Team.
•Troubleshoot quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and report findings.
•Monitor chemical use during cleanup and ensure the proper rotation of products.
•Inform other departments of necessary changes or run conditions and report to Plant Manager any problem encountered, and then follow any further instructions from management.
•Be inspection ready.
•Perform post CIP inspections to ensure the cleanliness of equipment.
•Maintain inventory of supplies, of assigned items.
•Take inventory if necessary.
•Report violations of company policies, procedures, and working rules to Plant Manager.
•Enforce and follow all safety and working rules including code of conduct and workplace policies.
•Review monthly safety reports and attend safety meetings.
•Support a company culture of continuous improvement by participating in efficiency and improvement efforts.
•Perform other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
•This position has employee supervisory responsibilities in the area of discipline.
•If there are employee problems, you are to report them to the Plant Manager.
•Have the responsibility of calling in employees if needed to cover a shift.
•Oversee the performance of the Plant Foreperson.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and four years of experience in a leadership role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
•Leadership, team development, coaching, and / or teaching experience.
