Job Summary Individuals with experience driving 26-foot non-CDL box trucks are preferred but there are also positions specific to small trucks, cargo vans and Class B trucks. Drivers pick up and deliver produce, supplies and other food products to our farmers and to our customers. Most of our product is palletized, refrigerated and temperature sensitive. We seek to find individuals who are safety-oriented, flexible and good communicators. Routes start and end every day at our home location. Overnight routes are occasional in our company but not required for this position. Some work in our yard may be required. Local Route Drivers tend to have routes within 75 miles of Lancaster County. There are PT and FT positions. Essential functions: • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and hand carts. • Ensure necessary paperwork is completed for each delivery. • Communicate appropriately with necessary parties regarding delivery status. • Maintain simple records of deliveries, pick-ups and truck mileage. • Inspect vehicle for safety defects and for full vehicle functionality. • Safeguards secure loading of truck to prevent shifting and product damage. • Safely operate the assigned vehicle - cargo vans (less than 10,000 lbs.), non-CDL straight trucks (up to 26,000 lbs.) • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day. Qualifications: • Minimum age of 21 to meet DOT regulations for commercial motor vehicles. • Current DOT card. If no DOT card, must be able to pass a DOT physical. • CDL license is not mandatory and all levels of driving experience are encouraged to apply. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. • Ability to follow directions on delivery route. • Aptitude to maintain simple logs and records. • Dependable worker able to carry out series of work instructions without constant supervision. What You'll Do Front Desk Responsibilities: Client Experience: Understanding of hospitality principles & processes and ability to execute as part of the Barry's Client Experience Support the client experience with hospitality and studio amenities to build personalized experiences with the goal of positively impacting both sales and service Be an effective brand ambassador, ensuring clients are warmly welcomed, assisted accordingly, and have a memorable experience commensurate with the Barry's brand Establishing and maintaining Interpersonal Relationships: The candidate must develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients/staff, and maintain them over time Assist clients, building individual connections, and providing direction with any questions or concerns Communicating with Supervisors, peers: the candidate must provide information to supervisors and co-workers, by telephone, in written form, e-mail, text, or in person in a timely and efficient manner Deliver first class client experience at all times Ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere at all times by assisting in studio cleaning, restocking, and upkeep as needed Guide clients with regards to the latest studio promotions, membership discounts and/or special events Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations Participate in all relevant training and development programs and meetings as directed by Operations leaders Have flexibility with schedule, having the ability to work weekends, holidays, morning or night shifts and adhere to work schedule, and meeting minimum availability requirements Fuel Bar Responsibilities: Deliver quality protein smoothies and customer service in the Fuel Bar Handle pre-orders and orders on the spot, custom to each client's needs Assist clients with questions and product selection Complete client's orders in a timely manner utilizing a POS transaction Maintain fuel bar department areas clean and sanitized Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations Properly rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and department tables, paying special attention to spoiling goods according to company policy Prepare various fuel bar goods following company recipes Facility Maintenance: Prepare studio spaces before, after, and in-between classes by cleaning exercise equipment, sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming floors, and wiping mirrors Support in cleaning and maintaining of locker rooms to brand standard as directed Regular deep cleaning, organization, and service of common areas, including the lobby space, FuelBar, Red Room/Lift/Ride spaces, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areas Conduct small studio repairs when appropriate Laundry services, including collecting, washing, and folding towels Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists Customer Service: Ensure all existing and new clients are provided with the highest level of hospitality Maintain client database and utilize information to increase client contact Attend social functions within the community to generate new business, invite current and prospective clients to in-studio events, and reach out through curated clienteling tools Qualifications Strong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry's Mission, Vision and Values. Ability to work either a full-time or part-time schedule Full-time employees: Must be available for a minimum of 30 hours per week with minimal restrictions.
