Join Our Team:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Therapist as we expand our outpatient clinic in Minot, ND.
Starting Wage: $64,000-80,000 DOE
with option to have on-demand daily pay
Responsibilities:
Walk alongside patients during their mentalhealth journey and advocate for them by connecting them with the resources they need to accomplish their mentalhealth goals.
Provide evidence-based services to help patients meet their treatment goals.
Conduct therapy, groups, and family therapy when clinically indicated.
Provide client diagnosis as appropriate, using the DSM-V, and in consultation with psychology or psychiatry providers as necessary to coordinate patient care.
Provide integrated services by communicating and documenting services, care, and treatment.
Modify the patient's treatment plan as needed to meet their therapeutic needs.
Minimum qualifications/education:
Must be licensed as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMSW in North Dakota, or be able to obtain licensure in North Dakota.
Master's or doctorate degree required.
Must have an insurable driving record to be able to drive agency vehicles.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are on the search for a full-time Licensed MentalHealth Clinician to join our Moorhead, MN team. The Licensed MentalHealth Clinician will be responsible for conducting psychosocial evaluations and providing therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling to individuals, groups, and families as needed.
SSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. DUTIES:
Review and recommend treatment options with clients and their families
Help clients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from and/or manage their mentalhealth condition.
Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their well-being
Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including federal- and state-mandated forms, client diagnostic records, and progress notes
Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services, housing resources, and community organizations
Facilitate support groups and assist in the development, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic and supportive services programming
Analyze and interpret all relevant data to determine treatment recommendations and priorities
Collaborate and communicate with team members to provide holistic integrated treatment.
Respect and acknowledge the organization's commitment to cultural diversity, which is expressed through behavior, language, and actions
Consistently interact with clients and staff in a manner that reflects favorably on the organization and promotes teamwork
Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to accepted ethical and behavioral standards of conduct and continuing professional development

Masters of Science degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Acceptable licenses include: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC
Ability to become licensed in MN and ND or hold a current license in those states
Ability to complete timely, confidential, and ethically appropriate documentation
Comfortable and competent in working independently as well as part of a team
Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and time management skills required
Access to reliable transportation, appropriate insurance, and ability to travel as required
Experience in support group facilitation; demonstrate excellence in conflict resolution skills

The IHC conducts behavioral health services in a primary care clinic setting by providing diagnostic assessment, onsite crisis assessment and intervention, determining need for ongoing care according to level of clinical ability, medical and psychosocial complexity. The IHC is competent in multiple counseling modalities (ranging from very brief to long-term), making appropriate referrals, and providing educational services across the continuum of care. The IHC follows up with referrals to specialty care and ensures those patients are receiving appropriate behavioral health management. Serves as the primary team consultant to promote understanding of the relationship between health and psychological/behavioral factors and promote this understanding to patients, families, other team members and the community. Takes active leadership in universal health screening for behavioral and chemical health conditions that negatively impact overall health and wellness and works collaboratively with other team members to ensure quality delivery of care. Provides education and training to staff regarding management of behavioral emergency situations and current behavioral health information and how this interacts with overall health. Delivers empirically validated, short-term behavioral health care services (assessment, consultation, diagnosis, and treatment) to ambulatory primary care patients via both traditional face-to-face visits and innovative care delivery models such as telehealth when necessary. Works closely with other PCMH or PCC team members to address psychosocial and cultural elements of health and disease pertinent to the patient's ability to manage their acute and chronic conditions and appreciate other factors that influence health care (developmental, economic, familial, religious, etc.) and wellness. Assists the team in effectively managing populations of patients, tracking costs and quality associated with innovative integrated care models, and implementing the highest standards of behavioral health care. Systemically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of behavioral health care and actively participates in quality improvement activities. Documents in a responsible, accountable and ethical manner to promote safe, reliable patient centered care. Participates in a population health management approach to health care by thinking broadly and innovatively and leveraging multiple resources to assist with direct care of patients with both medical and co-morbid behavioral conditions.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences required; graduation from an accredited school preferred.
License must be in good standing in state(s) of practice.
