Dakota Community Bank & Trust was founded on January 1, 1940 and has been serving the financial needs of their customers for over 82 years.

Dakota Community Bank & Trust, N.A. was originally chartered as Security Bank of Hebron in 1940.

1982

In 1982, Dale Pahlke moved from Winner, SD to become the President and CEO of the bank.

1983

Security Bank of Hebron operated under this name with a station in Taylor until January 1, 1983 when a group of Nebraskan investors acquired the Security Bank of Hebron and formed Hebron Banshares, Inc.

1984

Stan Sayler, a native of Hebron, N.D., joined the bank in 1984 and today serves as the Executive Vice President.

1997

In 1997, Hebron Banshares, Inc. merged into Dakota Community Banshares, Inc.

2005

In August of 2005 a second location in Bismarck was opened.

2011

Dakota Community Bank, N.A. assumed Trust powers in 2011 and therefor renamed Dakota Community Bank & Trust, N.A.

2021

Then, in July of 2021, a branch was opened in Richardton, ND for a total of twelve branches.
