A Typical Day in the Life of a Warehouse Associate at DSG:
Accurately pull material from location to fill each order
Pack, label and put filled orders in proper locations for delivery
Operate gas and electric forklifts and riders
Operates wire measuring / cutting machine, cuts proper wire to proper length, mark tags with new wire amounts and fills racks when needed
Operate pipe machine, cuts pipe to proper length and depth
Sweep and mop floors, clean and dust shelves, sorts and dumps trash in appropriate bins
Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
Handle calls for warehouse when needed
Use computer and/or RF scanner to check on status, availability and location of product
Notify inventory control about shortages or overages in inventory
Load delivery trucks as needed
Assist in Receiving as workload permits
Inspect trucks before delivery to ensure that they are in good working order and will pass road inspection, such as checking tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, etc.; report any vehicle problems and/or set appointments to get problems fixed
Frequently communicate with fellow employee owners regarding how product should be loaded and to learn of any problems or concerns
Perform any other duties as assigned
A Successful Warehouse Associate Typically Has:
Basic product and warehouse or delivery knowledge that would normally be acquired in one to three years of applicable experience.
Attention to detail.
Organizational skills and an ability to prioritize tasks.
Safety training on material handling and forklift driving.
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
The physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis, and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Delivery Driver at DSG:
Load delivery truck in a safe manner, according to company policy
Work with warehouse associates to communicate how product should be loaded
Inspect truck & trailer according to company policy and DOT standards, to ensure it is in good working order
Immediately communicate any vehicle safety and/or maintenance issues to the supervisor
Communicate with customers regarding delivery dates & times
Drive to various customer locations, typically within 150 miles of branch location
Unload materials at customers' places of businesses and/or warehouses, as per customer instruction
Stay compliant with DOT/FMCSA and OSHA regulations including completion of training activities as required by DSG policy and/or regulatory authorities
Adhere to DSG's safety policy and vehicle safety program

The Asphalt Paving Superintendent oversees the working foreman and daily activities at the work site project. Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of work crew and the delivery of equipment and materials. Works with contractors, owners, and representatives to complete the project within the given budget and time frame in a safe, productive, and professional manner.
High School diploma or equivalent, more than 5 years related heavy highway road construction experience with minimum 3 years previous field crew supervision experience. BS or BA in Construction Management, business, or related studies desirable or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to communicate and problem solve effectively. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required with the ability to handle multiple projects and scheduling.

The CDL Delivery Driver must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with current medical card.
A Typical Day in the Life of a CDL Class A Delivery Driver at DSG:
Load delivery truck in a safe manner, according to company policy
Work with warehouse associates to communicate how product should be loaded
Inspect truck & trailer according to company policy and DOT standards, to ensure it is in good working order

Communicate with customers regarding delivery dates & times

A Typical Day in the Life of an Onsite Sewer & Well Outside Sales Account Manager at DSG:
Travel up to 175 miles of branch to establish, manage, and maintain strong customer relationships and accounts by providing stellar customer service, including responding to and calling on customers as necessary
Work with our Inside Sales Associates to identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives that will improve customer satisfaction and territory growth
Seek and develop new customer opportunities and accounts
Introduce, promote, and demonstrate new products and marketing programs
Correspond with Branch Manager and Purchasing Agents on changes in product demands
Act as a facilitator for the customer ordering process, including: processing all types of customer orders, correcting orders, responding to open order and back order inquiries, responding to customer requests for product returns, and suggesting changes for improving the overall order process
A Successful Onsite Sewer & Well Outside Sales Account Manager Typically Has:
A high School diploma or equivalent; postsecondary degree is preferred.
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (required).
Product and technical knowledge normally acquired in two or more years of college or technical school OR 3-5 years field experience in the residential/commercial applications of onsite sewer, water, & well products.
Strong sales skills, with a proven track record of successful territory development.
3-5 years of sales experience.
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multitask in order to effectively prioritize and manage workflow.
A strong attention to detail and ability to follow-through/follow-up.
A general understanding of onsite sewer water & well software and programs to help customers with designs and rebates.
Familiarity with DSG Web Commerce and the ability to instruct customers on its uses.
Excellent time management skills.

A Typical Day in the Life of a HVAC Inside Sales Associate at DSG:
* Serve as a primary facilitator for customer orders
* Assist customers in a professional manner with product inquiries
* Write (and occasionally assist to fill) orders accurately and in a timely manner
* Generate customer quotations and follow up on quotes requested
* Provide trouble-shooting and technical support
* Work with other sales team members to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner
* Restock the counter area according to product brand and location
* Monitor product inventory and cull damaged product
* Maintain a clean and appealing counter display area
* Identify and encourage the sale of additional products as applicable
