Donna Johnson has over 30 years of Safety experience and 14 years of service at DART. Currently she serves as the Vice President - Chief Safety Officer, reporting directly to the President/Executive Director, where she manages the agency's operational safety program with the objective of ensuring the protection of DART employees, passengers, property and stakeholders.

She is an accomplished safety leader and has an extensive background in bus/rail safety, operations safety, industrial safety and regulatory compliance. Previously, Johnson manage safety programs at three major corporations (PepsiCo, Coca Cola, and Concentra) and was responsible for ensuring the safety for over 35,000 employees in 20 states under several USDOT operating administrations; FHWA, FMCR, PHMSA, FAA and FTA.

Johnson recently served as Director of Safety for the agency, where she led a team of safety professionals responsible for safeguarding DART's employees, passengers and contractors.

Johnson holds dual professional safety certifications from the World Safety Organization and the US Department of Transportation Safety Institute and is a member of the APTA Safety Committee and the Texas Transit Safety and Security Professional Organization.

Gregory Elsborg joined Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) in 2019 as Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer.

As Chief Innovation Officer, Gregory's responsibilities include driving new business partnerships, growing DART's Mobility as a Service (MaaS) offering, and leveraging technology to facilitate innovation across the enterprise. Greg has a strong track record of driving ecommerce, mobile and innovation initiatives across a variety of industries throughout his career. His background includes Fortune 500 and global leadership roles in digital innovation and brand strategy spanning various industries.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Gregory studied Marketing at Lancaster University Management School, a Top 5 UK Business School, graduating with multi-disciplinary Honors. After a successful career in the UK, including general management and marketing leadership roles in the transit industry, he relocated to the United States in 2011.

Nicole Fontayne-Bárdowell joined DART in June 2014 with more than 14 years of experience as a Chief Information Officer and Director of IT with large jurisdictions: the City of Detroit, Michigan under Mayor Dennis Archer and in Broward County, Florida. Fontayne-Bárdowell leads the Information Technology Department and has ultimate responsibility for Management Information Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems Technology, Networks, and Telecommunications. She is also responsible for developing and implementing DART's information technology and intelligent transportation systems strategic technology goals and objectives to enable DART's service mission.

Fontayne-Bárdowell succeeds Chief Financial Officer David Leininger in the top administrative role. Leininger retired in 2018. In her new capacity, she will also oversee Human Capital, Marketing and Communications, and Procurement.

Fontayne-Bárdowell was recently an Engagement Manager with Everest Group, a boutique, global management consulting firm based in Dallas, focusing on strategy and transformation on highly complex projects with leading companies.

Carol Wise reports to the President/Executive Director and brings more than three decades of knowledge to DART from transit agencies in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC. She has experience in managing, bus operations, vehicle maintenance, revenue equipment systems, engineering, strategic planning, policy, and budget analysis.

In her role at DART, Wise leads Operations, Bus, Light Rail, Maintenance, Materials Management, Mobility Management, and Transit Police.
