JOB SUMMARY
Plan, develop, implement, operate, monitor and report on public fixed route and demand response transit services administered by Benton County. Works independently to coordinate with local, state and federal partners in the operation, maintenance, and grant compliance requirements for the transit program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Transit Program Coordinator
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
Associate's degree in business administration, Public Policy or Administration, Urban or Transportation planning, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
AND
Three years of professional experience in public policy, public transportation, planning, or a related field. Experience must include communication with the public in a customer service, public education and/or involvement capacity.
Special Requirements:
* Possession of and the ability to maintain a valid Oregon Driver's License.
An equivalent of education and experience may be accepted. Applicants must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to receive equivalency.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
A bachelor's degree.
Additional and/or specific public transit program management experience is highly desirable.

Lead HVAC rebuild and optimization efforts to improve reliability, performance, and efficiency

Coordinate and oversee external HVAC contractors and specialty vendors as required

Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.
Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity for the purposes of gaining information from suspected violators of laws to determine the appropriate course of action.

This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.

Physically able to accompany campers to and participate in all camp activities.
Able to communicate verbally with campers and to provide instructions.
Possess visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and physical ability to act swiftly in emergency situations.
Able to observe camper behavior, respond to health and safety concerns and deal appropriately with camper behavior.
Able to work long hours including nights and weekends.
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (rain, heat etc).
Capable of effective and appropriate mental, emotional and social responses in a constantly changing, youth centered environment.

Salary Description $640+ DOE/week
