Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify and attract potential candidates. Conduct initial screenings and assessments of candidates to evaluate their qualifications, skills, and fit for specific roles. Maintain candidate records and information in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations. Provide support and guidance to hiring managers on best practices for candidate evaluation, interview techniques, and selection decisions. Arrange flights, hotels, etc., for candidates that are travelling for interviews. Support the implementation of recruitment initiatives and projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our talent acquisition processes. Participate in employer branding activities, including career fairs, campus recruitment events, and employer networking groups, to promote our company as an employer of choice. Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies for open positions. Maintain and build relationships with external recruiters. Perform other duties as needed. Required Experience and Education: Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience. 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. Competencies: Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards. Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Body Prep Technician to join our TEAM! **Schedule:** 2-2-3 Rotation Nights 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM **Primary Objective:** Experienced Team Member that assists all team members throughout the production process in the effective production of tile. **Major Functions:** + Approaches all responsibilities with the mindset that ensures safety is built into every process task, factoring ergonomics, environmental and hazard elimination into the work steps of the team and themselves. + Understand their ability to directly increase overall product quality and integrity, while ensuring that process and product waste are driven to elimination through their skill and intervention. + Performing/reviewing product testing results in order to make necessary corrections within the operating parameters to ensure finished powder integrity maintains to internal specifications. + Maintains a continuous improvement mind set when working on equipment, always looking for a better, safer, way, and communicating best practices + Responsible for completing daily report detailing safety concerns, quality review, efficiency and inventory levels, as well as equipment maintenance completed throughout shift. + Focusing on machine and conveyor audits to ensure issues are recognized early in order to foster a more proactive than reactive approach. + Responsible for regular material and belt calibration according to outline determined by Quality Management System or at the request of the department Manager. + Direct responsibility for grinding media inventory, replenishment orders and fill levels inside Ball Mill. + Ability to wear PPE (including but not limited to a respirator) and maintain company safety policies. + Will be seen as a leader in the department during times when the department Manager is scheduled out of the office. + Continuously reviewing their respective area for ideas and thoughts that will drive productivity and reduce costs within the organization, and be able to professionally speak to their solution for improvement. + Conducts scheduled safety audits throughout the department, looking for unsafe conditions or finding a system or manner in which we can improve the quality of work life for our team. + Monitors balance and records data on dust collection equipment within the department. + Will be responsible to fill in at an operator level during call-offs and potentially vacation. + Performs other related duties as required. + Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection.
