Camping - The Dan Council owns two camping facilities. The Dan Beard Scout Reservation is in Cincinnati and includes Camp Friedlander, Camp Craig and Cub World. Camp Michaels is in Kentucky. In addition to summer camp, scouts may use these facilities year round for overnight camping and day trips. The Council offers summer camping programs that range from overnight programs that are one night to one week in length and day camp programs located throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. Their purpose is character development, physical fitness, life skills instructions and instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Over 6,100 youth attended camp programs in 2018.
