The Continuous Improvement Leader (DBSL) is responsible for driving performance improvement using the Danaher Business System tools supporting the Americas Logistics and Distribution Teams. This position will play a pivotal role deploying lean tools, kaizens, programs and projects that drive KPI improvements This position reports to the Senior Director of Logistics and Distribution and is part of the Americas Logistics and Distribution team located in Hebron, KY and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Drive optimization of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity (Cost) and overall performance by championing DBS and embedding a strong culture of continuous improvement across global Operations sites, using DBS tools such as Daily Management, VSM, 5S, Standard Work, TPM, SMED, TPI, VRK and Lean Conversion Actively participate, facilitate, collaborate and lead, daily, weekly and monthly L3 Operations meetings. Coach and mentor the site team in the use of structured DBS tools to facilitate sustained performance improvements. Coach and provide ongoing support and guidance to build knowledge and capability of DBS across all levels at site Work with the Site Leadership team to create and sustain Policy Deployment frameworks, Bowler Charts, Action Plans and Problem Solving Processes; consolidate and analyze KPIs from manufacturing site, resulting in the development of Action Plans to address areas of opportunity.
