Newtown is a scenic “small town” located in Fairfield County in southwestern Connecticut, about sixty miles from New York City. This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate Primary Care Family Medicine or Med/Peds Physician who will provide comprehensive care in a team-based environment to our population of patients as well as Medical Director Responsibilities. This includes not only caring for acute and chronic conditions, but working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well-being of our entire panel of covered lives. The medical director is responsible for driving quality of care, optimizing patient access and ensuring top decile patient experience scores for the practice.
