Role Description The Residential Treatment (Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program) Therapist is responsible for providing care and treatment as outlined in the client's treatment plan, to include individual, family, and group therapy services to assigned clients and family members. This is a salaried, exempt position with an annual compensation range of $46,500-$59,400, depending on licensure status and relevant experience. Community Based Therapist (Part-Time for Volusia and Flagler Counties) Hours: 20-hour flex schedule Requirements: Master's Degree from an accredited university in the area of social work or counseling with 2+ years of relevant experience Prior experience working with at-risk children/adolescence Driver's License Must be in good standing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Proficient in computer programs and software Essential Functions: Provide individual, group & family therapy, utilizing various therapeutic approaches including but not limited to: TBRI, CBT, TF-CBT, Behavior Management, Client-Centered Therapy and Play therapy interventions in schools and homes. CALOCUS ASSESSMENTS Suicide screening Mental Health Performance Outcomes completed and signed every 90 days. CFARS completed every 6 months. Provide case management/ legal guardianship to dependent children. Observe and document home conditions and child's behavior/feelings about the living situation. Provide conflict resolution and crisis intervention services to families. Coordinate available community services, to include making referrals. Provide education for case participants about available services, parenting practices and dependency system. Complete documentation of all case activities in case file and FSFN. Assist parents with case plan tasks (including setting up appointments, providing transportation, etc.). Staff cases with supervisor, complete and follow-up tasks. Provide written court reports within 10 days before hearing dates. Submit Permanency Referrals and staff cases for permanency in required timeframes. Attend court proceedings relating to case, including providing accurate court testimony. Update case plans and other court documents in required timeframes.
