Full-time Description
Dann Marine Towing, LC. Is, a sixth-generation family owned and operated tugboat company, managing a fleet of 24 ocean going tugboats and inland push boats. Our vessels range in horsepower from 1100 H.P. to 5600 H.P. The fleet operates on the US East Coast, Gulf of Mexico, as well as on the Great Lakes. All vessels in the fleet are equipped with the latest navigation and communication equipment available today. Each vessel is staffed by qualified and professional crews. In addition to the vessels, Dann Marine Towing has a fleet of Tank, Jumbo Hopper barges and deck barges, as well as five self-unloading cement barges that are available for charter.
We are currently looking for a Fleet Dispatcher/Coordinator to assist our dispatch team with the following responsibilities:
Scheduling crew on various tugboats and barges to ensure proper coverage on all Dann Marine Towing vessels.
Direct communication with crew, customers, shore-based staff and vendors.
Process paperwork and maintain records
Coordinating travel arrangements for the crew.
Answer overflow calls for a multi-line switchboard.
Schedule:
Position works Monday-Friday
8am-5pm
Includes on-call rotation between four team members

Skills:
Must-haves:
*Due to the nature of the work performed, US CITIZENSHIP is a REQUIREMENT
*Must have own tools in good working order
*Basic understanding of applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to complete installations per technical drawings while maintaining edge distance and pitch
*Experience with structure assembly, minor part fitting techniques, and repair and refinishing such as airframe corrosion removal, as applicable
*Ability to install various fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks
Preferred:
*Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, NASA or US Military
*Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required
Education:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
* A higher-level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

1 Year of OTR verifiable Tractor Trailer experience
Good MVR & Accident record

To qualify with Crane Freight and Cartage, you must meet the following criteria:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a valid CDL Class A license.
Must have a valid social security number.
Must have legal right to work in the United States
Must have 2 or less moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years.
License have not been suspended or revoked in the last 3 years.
No conviction for DUI or DWI in the last 7 years
