Primary Care Essential: Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments for patients of all ages, including children ages 3 years and up. Perform chronic care management for patients with conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma. Administer annual wellness visits for adults and pediatrics, including vaccinations and preventive screenings. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to diagnose and assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans. Prescribe medications, recommend treatments, and provide written home-going instructions. Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare resources as needed. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and preventive care. Promote patient engagement, health literacy, and shared decision-making. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care programs. Emphasize patient-centered care, continuity of care, and building strong patient-provider relationships. Proficient in providing comprehensive primary care, including chronic care management, annual wellness visits for adults and pediatrics, and preventive health measures. Understanding of HEDIS quality metrics relate to preventative screenings, vaccinations and chronic conditions. Required to be proficient in performing pediatric exams and see children aged 3 years and up. LPS Equipment & Acquisition LLC is looking to hire a Mechanic to perform a variety of preventative maintenance tasks on our trucking fleet and trailers. While we prefer someone who has a certificate or technical training in mechanics and truck repair, we are willing to work with any mechanical professional that has knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems. Welding or fabrication experience is also a plus, as these techniques often come in handy when making repairs on trailers. Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose issues in semi-trucks and tractor-trailers Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers Test equipment and systems for performance Perform repairs to brakes and electrical systems Document repairs Troubleshooting skills Use DOT inspections to check tractors, trailers, and other vehicles for safety and compliance Replace parts, valves, bearings and gears as needed Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking batteries and changing oil to ensure proper vehicle running Qualifications and Requirements Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems preferred Experience with various hand tools Valid driver's license Physical strength and stamina Welding or fabrication experience (preferred) High school diploma or GED certificate Class A CDL preferred Must be comfortable with working in awkward positions or cramped spaces Three years of experience working as a mechanic required, four years preferred Critical thinking, analysis, and evaluation abilities LPS Equipment & Acquisition Co. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
