Dart manufactures cups, plates, containers, lids and straws made from such materials as paper, sugar cane, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), expanded polystyrene foam and solid polystyrene to national and international foodservice markets. This is a hybrid position (two days a week in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL, office and 3 days a week work from home). This is a brand new position for our company, and one which will provide support and service on all appropriate aspects of Human Resources. We believe that work life balance is important, therefore we offer a flexible work schedule, with starting times as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 9 AM. You may choose a 30 or 60 minute, with work stop times based on your first two selections.
DESCRIPTION:

* Assist with the company recruiting efforts including creating and posting job requisitions, initial assessment of candidates, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and completing position required assessment testing.

* Process onboarding requirements, ensuring that all steps are completed timely and accurately.

* Ensure all new hires complete the I-9 process within three days of employment including the review of acceptable documents, employment verification, and maintenance of I-9 records.

* Handle inquiries from candidates, recruiting agencies, and new hires about our Applicant Tracking System and onboarding process.

* Maintain the new hire benefits training manual. Conduct new hire benefits training and answer benefits related questions during this session.

* Appropriately process requests from employees, which may include providing information or support.

* Search for resolution of problems on own using available resources while staying within the policies and procedures of the company.

* Support the coordination of meetings and events as required.

* Assist in the administration of HR programs, communications and services, which may include fleet benefits, company provided core benefits, wellness, and safety communications, etc.

* Associate's Degree required.

Day-to-Day Role:

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

* Two (2) years supervisory experience with strong leadership and management skills
* One (1) year previous Commercial Motor Vehicle driving experience
* 21 years of age minimum
* Seven (7) years of industry experience
* Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver License) and favorable driving record upon hiring and ability to maintain throughout duration of employment
* Display strong interpersonal skills and is accessible and approachable.
* Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes
* Ability to utilize and train employees on technology, processes and procedures
* Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
