Sign-On/Retention incentives: up to $7,500* The Behavioral HealthClinician provides high-quality behavioral healthcare as a collaborative primary care team member focused on short-term episodes of care, skill-based counseling, and coordination/outreach. This position works with a majority adult patient population.
We are offering a $7,500 sign-on/retention bonus for this position. *The bonus is available for external hires only, and certain conditions apply.
This is a full-time, 40-hour/week benefitted position located at our Lebanon campus. Once oriented to the position, it will be a hybrid position, working three days a week in the office and two days a week remotely. We anticipate spending the first four to six months on-site while orienting to the position before moving to a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
As a licensed independent mentalhealthclinician works with the Primary Care team to address the behavioral health needs of patients in primary care utilizing the Collaborative Care model of integrated care, which includes consults, short-term counseling, care coordination, outreach and data collection. Partners with PCP teams to systematically screen and assess for opiate misuse and other substance use disorders. Conduct triage visits and/or initial evaluations to help clarify behavioral health concerns and develop an individualized, appropriate care plan. Enrolls patients referred by the PCP into the collaborative care program, which includes both in person and telephone outreach visits for a short-term episode of care, up to 12 weeks duration. Utilizes evidence-based clinical procedures to deliver care in a standardized format and measure patient's symptoms and response to treatment through questionnaires and survey tools. Effectively maintains and manages a patient registry to track patients, monitor progress and report program focused metrics. Provides limited face-to-face, short-term counseling including; problem-solving therapy, brief CBT, motivational interviewing or brief supportive therapy. Proactively communicates with patients, primary care team members and the consulting psychiatrist to aid in effective, patient-centered, team-based care. Assists patients in need of higher levels or care, specialty mentalhealth or substance use services, outside of primary care, to connect with appropriate treatment resources. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Supports the department's educational and workforce development mission by providing supervision and learning opportunities for trainees in mentalhealth fields. This may include supervising student internships and/or providing clinical supervision toward licensure for master's prepared clinicians.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Social Work, MentalHealth Counseling, Marriage & Family Counseling/Therapy, or Addiction Counseling from an accredited institution of higher education, including an internship meeting professional standards.
* Must be able to demonstrate that he or she has provided psychological services, on an inpatient, outpatient or consultative basis in the past 12 months
Required Licensure/Certifications

This position will be based in the pediatric primary care clinic at Dartmouth Health Clinic in Nashua, NH.
As a member of the Collaborative Care team, you would have the opportunity to work closely with pediatric primary care providers, child psychiatrists, and other clinical staff to care for children and adolescents with behavioral health concerns directly in the primary care setting. Episodes of care are typically brief (up to 12 weeks), employ evidence-based treatments, and may include in-person sessions and telephone outreach calls.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinician with experience in or willingness to learn about the Collaborative Care Model. The candidate will also be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and will enjoy working in a busy pediatric primary clinic.

As a member of Amgen's IGHI Team, your work will be highly collaborative across multiple teams and levels within Amgen, including Representation in Clinical Research (RISE), Access to Health (ATH), and Health Impact. Additionally, you will have the chance to work cross-functionally with Research & Development, Corporate Affairs, Government Affairs, Health Equity, Advocacy Relations, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, and others. You will be uniquely responsible for one or more key projects that will advance the IGHI mission, including the following:

Basic Qualifications:
* Master's degree in psychology, social work, human services, or related field
* Licensed in the State of New Hampshire as an LICSW, LCMHC, or Licensed Psychologist (Conditional Licensure or ability to obtain conditional licensure within 60 days of hire is acceptable)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Ability to respond to a range of client needs using differential diagnosis and treatment approaches.
* Ability to maintain clinical records in timely compliance with agency policy and procedures.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external members of your clients' treatment team, including valuing an integrated treatment approach.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a variety of treatment services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy.
* Provide clinical services including intake/diagnostic assessments, case evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed.
* Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
* Participate in regularly scheduled group and individual clinical supervision.
* Maintain clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established clinic policies and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
