Your Role:

An exciting role has arisen to join MilliporeSigma, the life science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, as an ERP Master Data Admin. In this strategic position, you will be responsible for the overall collection, processing, and management of ERP Master data within SAP.

You will be working closely with Operations, Sales, Order Management, QC, Project Management, Purchasing, Procurement, IT, Finance, Inventory management, and other business functions to ensure Master data readiness for ERP deployment.

* Collaborate and develop a formalized process for gathering master data elements from business partners in Operations, QA, PM, OM, IT, Finance, IM, and other functional areas

* Develop, Support, Training, and Communication regarding functional master data governance including standards, definitions, processes, policies, and tools to team members
* Assist with continuous improvement of data management, resolve master data issues, link master data between systems and ensure quality, compliance, and consistency of master data
* Promote and support the use of accurate and reliable information across the company to enable optimal decision-making
* Other duties as assigned by the manager

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (i.e., Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or business discipline (i.e., Business Management, IT, etc.) with 2+ years' experience working with Master Data within SAP - OR -
* Master's degree in a scientific discipline (i.e., Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or business discipline (i.e., Business Management, IT, etc.) with 1+ years' experience working with Master Data within SAP - OR -

We seek a Program Data Administrator to manage two programmatic databases and provide staff support with data queries, report generation, and analysis. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the Administrator will:

Oversee the ClientTrack and VolunteerHub databases including systems configurations, database maintenance, and data integrity;

Respond to staff requests for complex database queries and prepare data-driven reports for programmatic departments;
Oversee all data input while adhering to organizational standards and industry best practices;
Oversee coordination between programmatic databases and other databases at Food & Friends, implementing integration when possible;
Develop policies and procedures for database usage;
Develop training curriculum on database usage and conduct trainings for staff;
Serve as primary point of contact with database vendors and organization's IT support; and
Supervise a part-time staff member responsible for program evaluation.

Must be willing to work in a traditional office environment; telework not permitted.

The successful candidate will have a BA/BS and at least three years of mid-level database management experience in a customer-driven environment. Knowledge of SQL a plus. Additional requirements include strong analytical skills and an understanding of basic statistics; ability to generate and interpret reports based upon statistical analysis; ability to communicate complex technical concepts verbally and in writing to an audience diverse in background and ability; ability to uphold strict HIPAA standards; and an appreciation for demographic diversity.
