The Research Analyst will contribute directly to ongoing and newly funded projects and will be exposed to cutting-edge approaches in neuroimmunology and neurodegenerative disease research. Department Information The position is housed within the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute at Indiana University School of Medicine. The lab integrates in vivo mouse models, molecular and cellular assays, immunohistochemistry, gene expression analyses, and advanced imaging approaches, working closely with collaborators across IU and beyond. General Responsibilities Perform complex and detailed laboratory experiments related to TBI and AD research. Conduct in vivo and ex vivo studies using mouse models of neurodegeneration and brain injury. Assist with tissue processing, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and image analysis. Perform molecular biology assays, including RNA and DNA extraction and qPCR. Organize, analyze, and maintain experimental data and research records. Coordinate day-to-day experimental workflows across multiple projects. Maintain laboratory organization, inventory, and compliance with safety protocols.
