Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Support senior Data Analyst by assisting with historical data analysis, basic data scrubbing, mapping, and validation. * Analyze user behavior, product performance, and operational data under the guidance of senior analysts. * Support the review and interpretation of early machine-learning model outputs and help prepare materials for internal or customer-facing presentations. * Conduct competitor, industry, and market research to support product and strategic planning. * Participate in discussions with business stakeholders to help document requirements and prototype new analytic ideas. * Assist with small-scale feature analysis or process improvement initiatives. * Collaborate with data and analytics team members to support data quality checks and documentation efforts. * Develop foundational knowledge in transportation data and related business domains. Education & Experience * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. * Prior internship, academic projects, or coursework related to data analysis, analytics, or business intelligence is a plus. * Interest in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Skills & Abilities Required * Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational databases (or coursework covering these topics). * Exposure to BI or data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker (academic or personal projects acceptable). * Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables. * Foundational understanding of data analysis concepts and metrics. * Curiosity and a strong analytical mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and techniques. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain analyses to technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from mentors. * Exposure to Python, data pipelines, ETL concepts, or Agile methodologies is a plus but not required.
