Under general supervision, the Public Safety Data & Research Analyst supports the Department of Public Safety and the Emergency Management Agency by collecting, analyzing, and translating justice-system, public-safety, and emergency-management data into clear, accurate, and actionable information for leadership, partner agencies, the public, and funding entities.
The position leads data-driven initiatives; develops dashboards, analytical products, and performance measures; supports law enforcement, justice-system, and emergency-management coordination; and prepares fact-based materials for external communication and funding purposes. The role integrates complex operational data, investigative findings, and incident-related information into timely written, visual, and verbal materials used for leadership briefings, public meetings, media inquiries, grant applications, compliance reporting, and emergency-related communications.

Required Qualifications
