Level Three: Events Supervisory Internship
This opportunity will provide further insight into the private club industry as well as a chance to work with club service line level employees and management. In this internship, the Intern will first learn the basics of service in all areas within food & beverage at the club. In the final two months of the internship the Intern will learn the basics of supervising banquets, supervising and running set up, and the basics of catering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-internship experiences. The Club is extremely committed to this program and hope the candidates selected share our enthusiasm in making it successful.
Position Rotation
• The intern will have the opportunity to work in various departments Formal, informal, banquet and pool service
• Beverage inventory, bartending and responsible alcohol service
• Weekly supervisor meetings
• Supervisory Training in Food & Beverage: Chit Process, Seating Charts, Inventory, Pre Shift Meetings/Roll Call, Menus, Daily Assignments, Scheduling, Banquet Event Order Sheets & Weekly Food & Beverage Meetings
• Working with the catering manager on all aspects of private events including: creating “party arrangement” sheets, booking events and ensuring events execute properly

The Club:
Oak Hill Country Club is a 36-hole facility located in Rochester NY. Both championship courses are designed by storied architect Donald Ross. The East Course is consistently ranked as a top 25 course in the country and known as one of the greatest venues for championship golf. With the success of the 2023 PGA Championship, Oak Hill has been selected to host the 2027 U.S. Amateur on both courses. The Oak Hill team is looking to fill intern positions for the summer of 2026.
Grounds Intern Position Summary:
Oak Hill seeks students who want to take their career and passion for turf management to the next level. Interns who are willing to learn and dedicate their time to our program will gain the skills and knowledge of turf management at the highest level. We pride ourselves on teamwork, embracing our motto "Be the Best," delivering championship conditions daily for our membership.
We are looking to grow our team and mentor young turf professionals who will one day become successful superintendents nationwide using the knowledge they've gained through our program. Our team places a strong emphasis on promoting from within our organization. All our current assistants were once student interns who returned after graduating and have climbed the ladder within our ranks. In the past 20 years, 11 Superintendents have been placed across the country and have climbed the ranks of the organization. They have all moved into their own superintendent roles.
Specific Duties:
Individuals selected will have ample opportunities to advance their education at Oak Hill. Students who possess a great work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as team players will gain substantial experience not limited to:
Under the guidance of the Golf & Grounds leadership team, participate in the planning, execution, and follow-up of all agronomic practices.
Assist in all aspects of maintaining championship-level golf courses.
Water management.
Experience-based knowledge of how we manage both USGA Bent grass greens and Poa/Bent push-up greens.
Calibration, chemical, and fertilizer application. (Spray Hawking, Boom Spraying).
Irrigation Troubleshooting and repair.
Enthusiasm for and commitment to the company and the Vision, Mission, and Values.
General Requirements/Skills:
Candidate must possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and organizational skills.

**Responsibilities:**
Assumes responsibility for the data management of clinical research protocols. Coordinates with the investigational faculty, clinical trial office staff, and sponsor-designated contacts to resolve data inquiries as needed. Formulates and organizes data entry plans to manage assigned caseloads. + Partners with the primary point of contact to provide data status reports and ensure protocol data objectives are scheduled appropriately. Manages a workload of studies commensurate to level of experience. Answers data clarifications for each study. Schedules and meets with study monitors and ensures patient cases are ready for each monitor visit and items are addressed after each monitoring visit. Develops source data worksheets specific to each assigned study. Ensures clinical issues from monitoring reports are addressed and closed out before the next monitoring visit. Ensures all study requirements are documented and meet both internal and external regulations in accordance with protocol guidelines. Prepares data status update reports to be presented routinely at PI Oversight meetings. Extracts and prepares drug safety profile information for annual reports. Prepares relevant information for DSMC reports as required and requested. Observes for deviations and acts to minimize them. Reports deviations when they occur, addressing adverse events with supervision.
+ Maintains study binders and filings according to protocol requirements and department policy. Prepares source documentation logs for review by trial investigators by extracting this information from available source documents. Updates data and safety related information in OnCore and collaborates with the trial investigators for review and submission to the applicable sponsor(s) and regulatory authorities. Maintains screening, enrollment, and other sponsor and/or protocol specific logs.
