Responsibilities Job Summary The Data Governance Analyst will support the development and execution of enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. The Mercury Programme is a pan-bank, multi-year programme, led by the Group Chief Data Office in partnership with the Group's Business and Function CDO, COO and 2nd line of defence teams, and focused on ensuring long-term and tangible improvement across all data risk sub-types across all lines of business, functions and geographies. Position Summary The Operations Data Analyst will play a crucial role in applying data analysis and reporting to support operational performance, production scheduling, and process improvements. This position will work closely with operations teams to assist in scheduling tasks as needed, while also owning analytics processes, reporting, and data-driven insights that improve productivity, quality, and throughput. Job Requirements Must-Have Qualifications * Bachelor's degree (or U.S. equivalent in Economics, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or related field) and 2+ years of post-collegiate work experience conducting data analysis or PhD in a quantitative field. * Experience with SQL to extract and manipulate large datasets. * Experience with at least one modeling framework (e.g: SciKit Learn, SAS, R, MATLAB) * Knowledge in statistics and mathematical concepts (e.g: hypothesis testing, regression) * Experience creating and telling stories from data. * Excellent communication skills and experience with cross-team collaboration. * Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance. * Experience creating and telling stories from data including the use of visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Microstrategy. * Experience using Microsoft Suite Tools (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Nice-to-Have Qualifications * Experience in the online retail industry. * Experience building, implementing and maintaining pricing algorithms on complex datasets. * Experience conducting price tests and utilizing statistical methods to measure the performance of new pricing initiatives. * Experience automating analyses and manual processes via SQL and Python scripts. * Experience designing, developing and maintaining Python scripts to automate manual processes. * Experience communicating data analysis findings to executive leadership. . Must live in the Indianapolis area. Pay: $27.00/hour In this role you will: Assist with data analysis in databases. Work with oversight staff to help implement the program in Indiana. Provide training and oversight for participating communities to ensure consistency in the data collection, auditing and reporting processes. Outreach to potential project partners in local, regional healthcare as well as community-based partnerships. Work with oversight staff in generating reports and other data requests on schedule. Coordinate communications and meetings with partners and participating EMS agencies and hospitals. Responsible for coordinating the daily operational tasks that are needed for the maintenance of participating and future sites. Troubleshooting database errors and software system issues. Establish and coordinate the data sharing committee. Incorporate interpersonal skills in communication with stakeholder personnel, colleagues, and the public. Collaborate with trauma system stakeholders. Travel will be required.
