    The Technical Business Analyst, reporting to the Trust & Custody Software Engineering Manager, will gather and document business and user requirements pertaining to new features for, and enhancements to, Mid Atlantic's web-based financial platform, and they will translate these business requirements into functional specifications for use by the development team. The Technical Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between the internal and external business community-clients, partners and employees-and the development team. Location: Pittsburgh, PA - hybrid We are interested in qualified candidates who are eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas. Duties/Responsibilities: Document business and user requirements with acceptance criteria and writing functional specifications for use by the development team. Coordinate, schedule, prepare agendas for, facilitate and participate in customer enhancement-focused collaboration sessions, Scrum meetings and sprint planning meetings, with internal and external audiences. Collaborate with the development team, product and training specialists, business development team, product management personnel and upper management on various activities to improve product offerings. Instinct to ask relevant probing questions that get to the "why" behind business requests to achieve successful outcomes. Lead demonstrations, user acceptance testing, and occasional training activities around the release of new enhancements or functionality and write product documentation. Write/maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts, and perform functional, regression and scalability testing. Manage a portfolio of complex projects that span one or multiple teams or systems. Create visual modeling or diagramming of current and proposed workflows. Generate feature enhancements and bug cases in the issue tracking system. Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and functional goals. Perform research and root cause analysis to determine the cause of system issues, and find an approach to resolve noted issues. Identify, document and report discovered product anomalies. Serve as a resource for development, clarifying requirements throughout the software development life cycle. The position focuses on designing, developing, and executing high-quality data migration solutions using SAP BODS and S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (Staging Tables Framework). The specialist will lead ETL processes, ensure data integrity, and collaborate closely with business and IT teams throughout the migration lifecycle. + Design and implement end-to-end data migration solutions from Navision SQL Server databases to SAP S/4HANA Cloud (RISE 2023) using SAP BODS. + Develop, optimize, and maintain BODS jobs, workflows, and dataflows for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). + Work extensively with S/4HANA Data Migration Objects, including: + Business Partners (Customers/Vendors) + Materials, Products, Equipment + Bills of Materials (BOMs) + Hierarchies and Classifications + Finance master data (Cost Center, Profit Center, etc.) + All Transactional Data Objects + SAP S/4HANA Migration Framework + Utilize SAP Migration Cockpit and Staging Table framework for data loads, validation, and reconciliation. + Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and harmonization to ensure accuracy and completeness. + Collaboration, Mapping & Quality Assurance + Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and validation rules. + Participate in data migration strategy design, mock conversion cycles, unit testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities. + Troubleshoot data migration issues independently and coordinate resolutions across functional and technical teams. + Governance & Best Practices + Ensure compliance with organizational data governance, performance standards, and security best practices. + Maintain documentation for mappings, ETL design, migration processes, and defect resolution. + Required Skills & Experience (Each Must Be 5+ Years) Technical Expertise + 5+ years of SAP BODS experience including ETL design, advanced transformations, and performance tuning. + 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA data migration experience, preferably S/4HANA Cloud 2023 (RISE). + 5+ years of hands-on work with SAP Migration Cockpit, including staging table framework, migration object templates, and reconciliation processes. + 5+ years of experience with key S/4HANA migration objects, including Business Partners, Materials, BOMs, Hierarchies, Finance, and Transactional Data. + 5+ years of SQL development experience, especially with Navision / MS SQL Server environments. Functional & Analytical Skills + 5+ years of experience in data profiling, cleansing, harmonization, and validation of large datasets. + 5+ years of experience resolving complex data issues, including debugging BODS jobs, staging tables, and SAP target structures. Soft Skills + 5+ years of stakeholder management and communication experience, working with IT teams and business SMEs. + Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. + Preferred Qualifications + Experience in manufacturing industry data structures. + Experience with multi-system migrations or large brownfield/greenfield implementations. + Knowledge of SAP MDG (optional).
