Create and maintain documentation, definitions, governance rules, and metadata for master data assets. Assist in establishing governance, stewardship, and versioning processes. Integrate master data processes with broader extract, load and transform (ELT) workflows and Snowflake data models. Contribute to automation of mastering data processes. Support other data initiatives such as data engineering, data modeling, and ad-hoc analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative or qualitative field. 1-3 years of experience or relevant coursework in data analysis, data engineering, or MDM-related roles. Strong SQL skills for data profiling, transformation, and reconciliation in Snowflake. Understanding of data mastering, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration concepts. Interest in private markets or financial data. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, evolving data. Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Prior experience in MDM, data governance, or data stewardship is a plus. Experience designing matching/merging logic, fuzzy joins, or reconciliation workflows. Job Details Brixton - Carlsbad, CA $38.00 - $40.00 Hourly Brixton is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join their Planning team. This role is critical to supporting their daily operations through accurate sales tracking, inventory management, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams. This is a temporary role based out of California. This role will be based at our Carlsbad office, with an expectation of being onsite four days per week (Monday-Thursday). ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Daily Sales Management: review and manage sales data daily Inventory Data Maintenance: clean and reconcile inventory data on a weekly basis Weekly Reporting: build and distribute detailed weekly reports Excel Sheet Creation: develop and accurately maintain various Excel spreadsheets tailored to business needs Allocation Management: support product allocation processes Ad-Hoc Analysis: assist with ad hoc data analysis to support business decisions, trends, and insights KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, inventory, planning, or data analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; the ability to create and work within complex spreadsheets and reports. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling Excellent communication skills for distributing reports and presenting findings Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Experience in retail, wholesale, or inventory-based businesses. Familiarity with reporting tools or ERP systems SALARY RANGE The base pay for this position is between $38.00-$40.00/hour. In accordance with applicable state laws, the range provided is Brixton's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. Job Title: Data Analyst Duration: 12 months Pat rate: $24/hr on W2 Responsibilities: · Collect, explore, evaluate and transform data from databases, flat files, spreadsheets, and other data sources. · Update and onboard customer information in Knowledge Portal to track up to date services. · Basic understanding of database principles within a SQL environment · Ability to write SQL queries and build report in SSRS or other reporting software. · Able to define methodology and analytics approach as required for each specific data analysis project and document all assumptions.
