Summary:

Under general supervision, provides data management support to the Program Manager for various database programs. Requires discretion and judgment to organize priorities, complete tasks and handle confidential patient information. Responsibilities include accurate case selection, data extraction and data entry from a variety of sources, as well as, assisting in report preparation, assisting in research activities, and supporting performance improvement. Reports directly to and receives supervision and overall administrative direction related to policies and procedures from the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 3+ years of prior practice or relevant healthcare experience.
  • Knowledge of complex healthcare system or capacity to learn same.
  • MS Office Skills
  • Ability to multitask and priortize assignment.

Job Summary:


Assists with the clinical trials process, including: care of patients enrolled in clinical trials, follow up patient care, and reporting of data. Assists in the efficient operation of the Cancer Registry under the guidelines of the American College of Surgeons (AcoS) Commission on Cancer, the Hospital Cancer Committee and Program. Registers and follows patients with a diagnosis of malignancy; retrieves and analyzes data and disseminates in accordance with professional ethics.
