Job Responsibilities:
+ Operates PC's, laser, and high/low speed printers to print labels, distributions, and tickets, to maintain daily/weekly production schedules
+ Creates manual tickets and labels as necessary
+ Verifies quality and accuracy of tickets and store labels
+ Enables User ID's
+ Operates cutter/stackers to ensure labels, distributions, and tickets are cut accurately and efficiently
+ Sorts files and matches tickets to distribution, store labels, t-stickers, and locators
+ Scans ticket and distribution packages into areas where applicable
+ Delivers packages to appropriate departments
+ Assists other operators and associates as necessary
+ Performs special projects

Function as a team member of Data Center Operations by providing procedural and Level 1 support for computer systems and Data Center activities. Monitors AE systems for exceptions and resolves or escalates these exceptions to the appropriate Level 2 associates, and monitors back-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily data center operations.
- Process information timely and accurately through AEO's centralized and distributed computer systems; run job schedulers, system utilities and programs, printing, quality control and media distribution
- Monitor systems for problems and alerts, run programs on-line, and submit jobs for batch control of job output.
- Identify systems problems, provide a first-line diagnosis, and correct or escalate to the appropriate second-level support or "on-call" personnel
- Monitor peripheral equipment, such as tape drives and tape libraries. In a timely and efficient manner, complete backups, restore requests, and ensure distribution of output (electronic and hard copy)
- Properly label, maintain a documentation log, and rotate backup media for off-site electronic media storage
- Review existing methods and propose alternatives to increase operations performance and/or production efficiency
- Seek out development opportunities to maintain a level of technical competency and business awareness
- Support change initiatives
- Work effectively in a customer-centric environment
- Maintain good relationships with associates, vendors, and outside consultants
- Support business customers, I/S colleagues and the Technology Infrastructure Management group as required to ensure mutual success
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Computer Operations or Computer Sciences preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of computer operations experience using current midrange and server hardware and operating systems
- Basic knowledge of computer operations, computer hardware, operating systems, and computer operations software
- Basic knowledge of job processing and file transfers
- Ability to work a rotating shift and overtime
- Working knowledge of BMC Control-M and MFT is a big plus
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
- Working knowledge of cloud file transfers, a big plus
