These include a Phase III investigation of a major Fort Ancient village site and Phase I, II investigations of Woodland period sites in the Scioto Valley. Field technicians will be working under the supervision of a Field Supervisor and/or Principal Investigator. The ongoing and future projects should see work through the late summer.
The work will involve archaeological excavation (i.e., test units), feature documentation, mapping and profiling, shovel testing, surface survey, and screening for artifacts. Phase III investigations are primarily in heated tents.
Minimum requirements include an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field; field school or archaeological field experience (previous work in Cultural Resource Management preferred); good organizational skills; and ability to maintain neat and accurate field notes. Pay starts at $20/hr and is based on experience. Per-diem ($41/day) and lodging is provided for all project work requiring overnight stays away from your home office, and paid sick time accrual is offered.
You must provide personal PPE like gloves and boots. Other required PPE will be provided.

As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may:
Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment.
Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships.
Work Environment
ETs and FCs serve on fleet units worldwide and at shore-based repair facilities. Expect assignments aboard ships, at remote stations, and in technical repair shops. Work is highly technical, requiring precision and teamwork.

Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies, and rules.
Promote and work in a manner consistent with Contamination Control guidelines.
Support company safety and housekeeping standards.
Communicate with internal and external customers in a manner that promotes a positive relationship.
Perform the following service operations with occasional supervision:
Follow manufacturer and company service guidelines and procedures to ensure quality work.
Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
Preserve component failure information for accurate failure analysis.
Perform pre-delivery setup, installation, and start-up on all makes and models of Caterpillar engines, generators, and related products.
Repair, replace, and rebuild engines and related systems and components of Cat and Non-Cat products in Industrial and EPG applications.
Perform inspections on equipment as needed.
Write service reports that accurately document activities.
Prepare required documentation including work orders, parts lists, and timecards in an accurate and timely manner to enable other employees to do their job in a timely manner.
Solicit information regarding opportunities for engine system sales and service and pass information to engine systems Sales staff and Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) in a timely manner.
Operate company, rental, or personal vehicle as needed to transport parts and equipment and perform other field service duties.
Ensure assigned company vehicle maintains a clean professional appearance and is in proper working order.
Attend scheduled technical training and safety training in person or online (virtual).
Work overtime as needed within labor law guidelines.
Travel up to 100% of the time to meet customer service requirements including overnight stays and out of territory travel.
Be on call to respond to customer service needs during the evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree from a fully accredited college or certificate from technical/vocational school in Diesel Technology or other closely related field; and a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in power generation or engine service, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Applicants must have the ability to travel 100% of the time.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Completion of a certified electrical safety course
Must maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

What We Need From You Job Duties and Requirements:
Perform automotive repairs and maintenance with precision and speed, following Ricart and OEM standards to ensure every job is done right the first time.
Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues accurately and provide effective repair solutions, keeping customer safety and satisfaction at the forefront.
Work closely with the parts department to ensure timely access to all necessary parts, minimizing downtime and delays.
Tag and save all parts from warranty work or customer-requested inspections, supporting transparency and accountability.
Document all services performed and any recommended repairs clearly and thoroughly in the repair order.
Test drive vehicles when needed to verify repairs, or partner with a test technician for validation.
Stay current with training by participating in manufacturer programs, certifications, and in-house development opportunities - we invest in your growth.
Review and apply technical bulletins to ensure we're using the latest repair methods and information.
Mentor apprentice technicians as needed, sharing your knowledge to support their growth and strengthen our service team.
Report any tool or equipment issues to your supervisor promptly to maintain a safe, productive shop environment.
Treat every customer vehicle with care, keeping interiors clean and noting any changes in appearance or condition to the service advisor immediately.
Take pride in your work and support the Ricart team by stepping in to help wherever needed.
Essential Job Functions:
Must have a valid drivers license and meet company motor vehicle report standards
High school education or equivalent
Ability to drive a manual vehicle preferred, but not required
Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received.
Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
Operates all tools and equipment safely.
Report any safety issues immediately to management.
