Role Profile:
We are currently seeking a Principal Consultant to join Neudesic's Data & AI practice. The ideal candidate has significant knowledge and experience designing, building and implementing complex Data & Analytics Solutions on Cloud platforms, primarily on Azure. This position is customer facing and will work closely with leadership on both technical pursuits as well as technical delivery oversight. This position requires a strong technical implementation background to support technical team members of all abilities both onshore and offshore. The ability to lead and drive delivery teams to successful implementations across a variety of industries and build confidence with customers during the sales process is required.
Responsibilities:
Provide vision and leadership through the process of gathering business requirements and recommending solution architectures on Microsoft Azure, on premise or hybrid cloud implementations as necessary. Continue to drive best practices throughout design, development, testing and final implementation with a project team.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship for all team members both onshore and offshore as needed. Ensure the team is following standard best practices in the areas of data warehouse architecture, data transformation and processing (ELT,ETL), varied data load and management strategies, Semantic Modeling (tabular, Power BI, Analysis Services) and Microsoft Fabric implementations.
Partner with customers, build relationships and drive a positive engagement experience that is fruitful for both our customers and the project team. Resolve issues as necessary and set expectations to maintain a healthy work environment.
Leverage Neudesic's Intellectual Property on implementations and become a thought leader on how we can continue to improve our capabilities resulting in efficient and consistent delivery for our customers.
Learn the customer's business, becoming a thought leader on how to apply technology to solve business problems and opportunities. Identify opportunities to provide additional services for customers in general and beyond the data & analytics domain as necessary.
Engage and help to drive the sales process with new and existing customers. Identify scope, requirements and then build a vision of the solution including architecture, deliverables, resources, timeline and costs to deliver.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in consulting to deliver Data & Analytics solutions.
Strong technical foundation across technologies that enable the design and delivery of Data & Analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure and related Microsoft platforms.
Demonstrate an ability to architect Enterprise Data & Analytics Solutions on the Azure platform following recommended strategies and approaches to deliver in a fast paced environment for customers.
Experience working in a sales support role, creating a vision for best fit solutions based on customer requirements and then drafting estimates, proposals and Statements of Work to execute a project successfully.
Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
