Actalent is currently seeking a qualified Data Modeler for a long-term contract position with Bonneville Power in Spokane, WA. This Data Modeler position will provide support to the Energy Management Systems (EMS) organization (JDE) at Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) in maintaining accurate and up-to-date EMS databases and displays. Energy Management Systems (EMS) are used by Dispatchers to monitor, control, and optimize the power grid. This position will support the operations and maintenance of EMS Habitat systems hosted on the core Control Center Network (CCN) and the CCN DMZ. This position will perform EMS Habitat system data modeling, display modeling, database updates, providing customer coordination, facilitating custom software scripts, and maintaining quality documentation. This position will interact cooperatively with: System Dispatchers (TOR), Data Systems Hardware (JO) (including the Network Systems Operations Center, hardware design and maintenance, Power Systems Communications), T&E Maintenance (TETD), and Technical Operations (TOO), among others.
