The primary objective of this project is to establish a comprehensive and scalable Data Management Framework for the client that enhances data-driven decision-making. Data Strategy Development: This phase focuses on establishing a comprehensive strategy for managing data assets that aligns with organizational goals and sets the foundation for effective data governance and usage. Data Platform Architecture Design and Deployment: This phase involves designing and deploying a scalable data architecture that supports efficient data management, integrates with existing systems, and adheres to best practices and standards. Data Integration and Migration: This phase focuses on consolidating existing data sources into the new Azure environment, ensuring seamless data integration, minimal disruption, and compatibility with other systems. Data Governance and Implementation: This phase involves defining and implementing data governance policies, establishing data stewardship roles, ensuring security and compliance, and standardizing data practices across the organization. Data Quality, Documentation, and Training: This phase aims to establish a framework for data quality, produce comprehensive system documentation, and conduct training for stakeholders to manage and maintain the new systems. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in similar roles. Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) by DAMA International, TOGAF Certification Have a minimum of 4 years of similar experience at a State of Florida Government Departments. Minimum of 5 years in providing full spectrum Data Services design and implementation including but not limited to Microsoft Data Fabric, Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics and other such applications. Experience developing a scalable data architecture framework that supports efficient data management. Develop and integrate a Data Quality Framework for monitoring and maintaining data quality. Ensure flexibility in accommodating tools like Microsoft Data Fabric, Snowflake, or other platforms. Experience deploying the foundational data architecture in Azure.
