Work with outside customers and internal departments within the company to develop a schedule for the delivery of products
Prepare daily lists of receiving, shipments and checking shipping instructions
Schedule and confirm appointments for suppliers
Correct and prevent problems to ensure that products and the delivery process remain on schedule
Scan and sends all received P.O. documentation to Accounting
Prepare and review bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and purchase orders
Responsible for preparing daily list of receiving, shipments and checking shipping instructions
Responsible for scheduling appointments for suppliers
Operate forklift and electric pallet jack as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Degree or GED required. Associates Degree in Logistics/Distribution Management or a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
At least 2 years, logistics experience
Extensive use of Microsoft Office applications (specially Outlook, Word, Excel)
Previous experience in a large manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ability to operate various types of configuration of equipment assigned, including various types of forklifts and hand held scanners with training.
Requires accurate, rapid and reliable data entry skills.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Operations Clerk to support daily administrative operations at our 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) facility. This role is essential in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient communication between warehouse staff, transportation providers, and customers. You'll play a key part in keeping warehouse operations organized and on track in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Shipment Coordination: Schedule and process inbound and outbound shipments; ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
Communication & Support: Serve as a liaison between warehouse personnel, transportation providers, and customers to ensure clear communication and issue resolution.
Data Entry & Inventory Updates: Maintain accurate data in WMS (Warehouse Management System) or CLI (Carrier Logistics Inc.) system, including inventory adjustments, order entry, and shipping records.
Document Management: Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, receiving paperwork, and other shipment-related documents.
Issue Resolution: Support problem-solving related to shipment discrepancies, delays, or inventory mismatches by coordinating with operations and customer service.
Administrative Support: Assist with filing, reporting, and general administrative duties as assigned by warehouse leadership.
Skills & Attributes
Organization & Attention to Detail: Highly organized with strong data accuracy skills, especially when handling shipping documentation or inventory data.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support coordination across departments and with external partners.
Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and shift priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Customer Focus: Professional and responsive in addressing internal and external inquiries.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access); experience with WMS or CLI systems is a plus.
Problem Solving: Capable of identifying issues and assisting in implementing timely resolutions to support continuous warehouse flow.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or 3PL office environment preferred.
Compensation
Compensation: $18.50 - $23.00 an hour, based on experience and location.
Classification: Non-exempt, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
Work Environment
Location: This is an onsite position at the designated 3PL warehouse terminal.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Frequent walking throughout the facility and between departments as part of daily operational tasks
Ability to lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds.
Ability to navigate each department and the company's facilities as needed.
