ODSDI provides data reporting and analytics support to campus leaders for strategic planning and decision-making by engaging with business units and the colleges to improve data collection, documentation, and related processes. The Advanced Data Literacy Associate will support the ODSDI team by helping to organize, document, and maintain data definitions and a comprehensive data dictionary. This role will assist in ensuring accurate, consistent, and accessible data across the institution, supporting reporting, compliance, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have high-level data management and organization skills , basic data analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), willingness to learn new tools as needed for the work, and strong attention to detail. The student will gain hands-on experience with institutional data, learn how data informs decision-making, and contribute to projects that support leadership, academic departments, and strategic planning. Tasks will include documenting data sources and definitions for dashboards and reports, and assisting with data validation and standardization.
