Reporting to the Associate Director of Database Operations, this role supports donor engagement and database integrity and assists with administrative duties. Essential
Functions:
Accurately enter and maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge.
Process donations and generate timely acknowledgment letters and gift receipts.

Assist with donor stewardship activities such as event support, mailings, and follow-up.
Identify and correct data entry errors and inconsistencies.

Description:
Data Entry (DE) personnel will be expected to handle exceptions as part of their duties. They will need to decipher handwriting, decide on spellings, use common sense and experience to read messy handwriting, and follow state guidelines on when/how to enter a name. Additionally, they will need to be able to handle exceptions, which are invalid names that were not automatically processed.
Requirements:
Touch typist only
Fluent in reading and writing English; must be familiar with common names and spellings
Able to read cursive handwriting
Must be computer-savvy and understand universal computer commands
Experience in data entry is a plus, but not always required if the candidate has other strong skills
Must be a critical thinker

**CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT**
The national pay range for this role is $17.50 - $22.80 per hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
