Compensation Band

The data entry clerk will liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information. The data entry clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You will identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.To do well in this job, you should collect information and capture data promptly to ensure the business databases are current to accurately reflect its developments, updates and transactions. Top candidates will be focused, diligent, energetic and have good peoples skills.
Responsibilities
Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information. Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information. Establishes entry priorities. Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies. Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures.

The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Print/Sort Labels for filling prescriptions
Review and input new, refill, infusion, house stock and emergency pharmacy orders in a timely and accurate manner according to client-specific criteria while maintaining acceptable production quotas as determined by experience and company policy
Enter returns/credits into the pharmacy system when applicable
Triage and prioritization of received orders (whether phone, fax or eRX)
Maintains confidentiality, security and integrity of protected health information
Develop proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy systems (ie document imaging, legacy pharmacy computer operating system)
Assist with training of new pharmacy team members
Qualifications
Education:High School Diploma or equivalent
Professional Experience:
Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
PTCB license, a plus
Experience with Framework Software a must
Strong knowledge of brand name to generic medication
Familiarity of SIG codes
1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
