The District Attorney acts as the public prosecutor for all crimes committed in Shasta County. The Crime Victims Assistance Center (CVAC) meets the needs of victims in our community through collaborative services provided with courteous, efficient professionalism. The goal is to graciously serve our community members by assisting and advocating for safety, healing, justice and restitution. CVAC provides support and resources to people in our community who have been victimized. The criminal justice process is often confusing and overwhelming and our CVAC unit helps victims navigate the process.

Legal Process Clerk I is distinguished from the next higher class of Legal Process Clerk II in that the former is the trainee class in the series. Duties may vary somewhat depending on which office the incumbent is assigned.
Legal Process Clerk II: Legal Process Clerk II is distinguished from the general clerical series by the specialized knowledge required to perform duties in a legal setting involving a wide variety of legal terminology, forms, and procedures. Legal Process Clerk II is distinguished from the next lower class of Legal Process Clerk I in that this class is considered to be the journey-level class in this series and incumbents are expected to be able to perform the full range of duties. Duties may vary somewhat depending on which office the incumbent is assigned.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have one year office experience specializing in records maintenance including: pulling files for a daily calendar, scanning case files into a document storage system and data entry. This individual will be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. A working knowledge of legal terminology and forms, business English, including vocabulary, correct grammatical usage and punctuation are essential to this position. Prior customer service experience interfacing with the public including receptionist skills is highly desired. This individual must have a team-oriented disposition with a willingness to assist other clerks and complete various duties to meet departmental needs.
Assignments for Legal Process Clerks are in the District Attorney, Public Defender, Probation, Child Support Services, and Sheriff's Offices. Depending on the assignment, any of the following duties will be required to be performed. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Legal Process Clerk I: Learns to receive and process legal documents for filing in criminal, civil, juvenile, family law, child support, and probate actions; examines documents for jurisdiction, accuracy and completeness and enters into register of action; initially calendars cases; checks and issues subpoenas, summonses, writs of execution, possession, attachments, seizures of property, and similar documents; indexes and cross indexes proceedings; searches records and files for prior actions; answers questions for attorneys and the public; collects fees, makes change, writes receipts and keeps records; types dictation and documents involving considerable legal terminology, such as complaints, warrants, motions, petitions, stipulations and judgments; acts as an information source regarding department policies, procedures, and activities; performs data entry and filing of booking reports and miscellaneous paperwork; contacts various agencies throughout the county to verify information (ex: obtaining police reports, court dates, etc.); prepares the Court calendar; maintains confidentiality of information in accordance with departmental policy, as well as all applicable laws and regulations; receives calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel; files reports and miscellaneous paperwork; obtains and assembles information from files; provides general assistance to the public; interacts with clients; assists in-house personnel, as well as outside agencies in obtaining information, and performs related duties as assigned.

GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the review and accuracy of the HDMA loan data required to be collected and reported in accordance with the Bank and HMDA regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for accuracy and integrity of the data collected and reviewed that is reported on originated mortgage loans, as well as non-originated applications (denials, withdrawal, approved but not accepted applications).
Scrub and audit file loan data to uncover any systematic problems, discrepancies, or data integrity issues.
Perform second line reviews on Bank Purchase Loans.
Work with various mortgage operations team members as well as other areas of the Bank to correct data within the loan origination system (Empower) or on the LAR.
Identify commercial HMDA reportable loans; prepare manual HMDA LAR by working with various commercial lending units.
Report any potential concerns about non-compliance with HMDA regulatory requirements.
Prepare monthly HMDA excel reports that will be submitted to the Compliance Department for LAR reporting.
Meet monthly deadline for HMDA data required on the Loan Application Register (LAR).
Perform other tasks which may be assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: College graduate with major in accounting or business preferred.
Experience: Minimum three years of mortgage lending and banking experience with good knowledge of lending regulations. Knowledge of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) is preferred.
Skills/Ability: Strong analytical and research skills; strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to adapt well to a fast paced and constantly changing business environment; PC proficient at the expert level; demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment; bilingual English/Chinese is a plus.

One of our large CDMO clients is seeking data migration specialist to transition from a legacy Quality Management System (QMS) to MasterControl. This role focuses on extracting structured and unstructured data from the previous QMS platform, validating its accuracy, and entering and organizing information within MasterControl according to established procedures. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with quality documentation and regulated data environments. Key Responsibilities Extract data from the legacy QMS, including documents, records, metadata, and historical logs. Review, clean, and validate extracted data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards. Input and upload data into MasterControl following defined workflows and naming conventions. Collaborate with Quality, IT, and Compliance teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify data requirements. Maintain detailed logs and status reports to track progress and identify issues during migration. Support testing and verification activities to ensure data integrity after import into MasterControl. Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory guidelines related to data handling and documentation control.
Compensation:
$20-22/hr
