Element has an opportunity for an Order Entry Technician in our customer service group at our Glendale Heights, IL location. The successful candidate will perform order entry of incoming test requests with detailed procedures, perform technical review of client purchasing documentation to ensure compliance and other scheduled tasks under direction of Operations. This role interfaces with operations, technical staff, and business development to serve our client base as we strive to continuously deliver excellence to our clients. This is a great opportunity to develop your Administration career within a Global TIC business.
Please Note: This is a fixed term assignment, and will last approximately 6 months.
Responsibilities
Unpack deliveries, maintaining traceability of the parts and accompanying paperwork through receiving, order processing and delivery/routing steps.
Read and interpret client orders and documentation; review noted/related technical standards and requirements.
Correctly establish orders in LIMS, based upon the supplied information.
Perform Initial contract and technical review of required documentation on established orders.
Provide and distribute sample/material and work information to processing departments' technical staff and supervisors, ensuring expeditious and successful completion of work requirements to meet customer delivery expectations.
As a team member, work to ensure efficient processing of client orders as required by production schedules.
Participate in/maintain workplace in accordance with 5S protocols and procedures.
Assists with coordination of production, quality, and process improvements.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lab management.
With direction, contact clients for additional information, resolve discrepancies and obtain clarification when needed regarding technical issues and serve as point of contact regarding job status of work.
Skills / Qualifications
Highschool Diploma/GED or previous relevant customer service/data entry work experience in an office environment or equivalent preferred.
* Highly self-motivated and organized individual with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Able to work independently with little supervision yet will seek out help when necessary.
Ability to work to deadlines without compromising the quality of work or safety.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Job Title: Placement Team Representative
The Placement Department handles all new placements for the firm including both electronic and manual placements. As a member of the placement team, you will learn how to handle electronic data files and manage your own client inventory using various firm designed applications. You will also learn how to process and import scanned images and data points from numerous platforms.
Your role with allow you to analyze all incoming client data and prepare files for attorney review.
As one of the largest consumer law firms in the country, we have offices in seven states and work to develop your job into a career through the development of new skillsets. This role is a data entry level role that allows you to learn new skills, understand various functionalities within the area to prepare you for advancements and opportunities in other roles.
Responsibilities:
· Maintaining client portfolio of incoming placements
· Handling of all new placement files as well as up front account maintenance and coding
· Tracking all files up until merging and sending Notices out once approved by an attorney
· Overseeing the scrub process for our entire inventory and files at each milestone
· Maintaining client guides and cheat sheets
· Requesting and obtaining all media requests for accounts
Education and Experience:
1-3 years' experience in an administrative position in a business environment is a plus.
Excel Experience is necessary.
