This is a career, salaried position with full benefits and we offer a flexible work schedule with a strong work from home component with the occasional need to be onsite at our Bethesda , MD client location.

In this role you will work with important datasets in a national repository of medical data. To be considered, you'll need prior demonstrable experience in Data Integration, Data Analysis, and using Kettle ETL mapping.

This position is actively engaged in ongoing production data fixes (daily/weekly), and in resynchronization of our Medical Library data every six months. You should have working knowledge of AWS or setting up a cloud environment for training/testing purposes.

This Data Analyst will migrate medical data to AWS using an ETL tool. Your role will also include rewriting Oracle packages, procedures, & functions to PostgreSQL. Automation of release processes/packaging, reports and insertion/ inversion tasks are part of our cloud migration process, too.

This role will be also be required to process daily/weekly tasks, report automations and ad-hoc reports based on user requests.
Education and Experience sought is:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 4+ years of experience in database and integration design Experience working with SQL and ETL processes Experience with Oracle and or PostgresSQL (experience with other relational databases may be considered) Some experience with NoSQL databases, in particular DynamoDB or other AWS-hosted services Familiarity with coding languages such as Python, Java, and/or JavaScript Familiarity in a Linux environment This role requires eligibility for Public Trust, which will begin processing at time of selection

What You Will Do:

HIM Data Integrity AnalystHunt Valley, MDFull Time, Day Shift

Overview Under general supervision and leadership, the HIM Data Integrity Analyst (DIA) will interact with the EMR system and users to facilitate correction all of medical records documentation errors identified, and the EMPI processes including but not limited to merging/unmerging and contact moving of incorrectly assigned encounters to the appropriate patient record. The DIA will monitor the appropriate queues and systems to identify, resolve, communicate the documentation error and validate that the medical record documentation error has been resolved or remediated. Also, works with HIM staff, hospital departments, and other healthcare affiliates to ensure efficient and effective resolution to documentation errors, to include the accuracy and validity of physician-created documents via voice-to-text technology. Key Responsibilities · Monitors and resolves correction requests sent to the Duplicate Queue on an ongoing and continuous basis. Assists with resolving duplicate records and other errors that are reported to the Help Desk. Applies and removes chart correction FYI flags, and indicates the patient chart as "Mark Patient for Merge request", or other notification, regarding a duplicate medical record number in the patient chart. · Communicates with the appropriate parties during the process of resolving chart correction errors, and assist providers with correcting MR errors as needed, and validates that the documentation error has been remediated or resolved. Monitors, and corrects if necessary, provider created documents for validity. · Reviews, prioritizes, and completes merges and unmerges of patient records with more than one facility medical record number or medical record numbers applied to more than one patient. Reviews, prioritizes and completes contact moves when a visit is associated with the incorrect patient and performs the necessary analysis to make that determination. · Works closely with key operational entities (e.g. Patient Access, Patient Financial Services) and technical resources to ensure that other critical software applications are updated and corrected, as needed. Notifies other departments of duplicates and surviving numbers to assure synchronization of indices throughout the organization. · Assists with training and collaborates with the EMR system users on the process and procedure of correcting medical record errors in the EHR system.

What You Need to Be Successful:

+ Associate Degree in HIM/Informatics or related field, or commensurate experience of a minimum of 5 years in HIM/Healthcare (required)

+ Three years related data integrity work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in data integrity or patient identity fields.(required)

+ Bachelor Degree in HIM/Informatics or other related field, or commensurate experience of 7 years in HIM. (preferred)

+ Five years of related work experience (transcription, informatics, clinical data abstraction, etc.) (preferred)

The Data Warehouse and Integrations Analyst will play a pivotal data engineering role in the support, evolution, and management of an Enterprise data lake/warehouse on our cloud platforms. The goal of the data warehouse/store is to aide in integrations, workflows, and reporting between disparate systems. You will be responsible for supporting “integrations” between several enterprise-level systems such as Dynamics 365, SFDC, Revenue recognition tool, Planning tool, established staging tables and other systems and/or databases using typical ETL, middleware and/or API tools.

As a data analyst you will be responsible for tasks like table structure and creating/maintaining ERD documentation. You will be responsible for the technical ETL / data integrations migrations (including technical documentation such as Source-to-Target mapping, etc.). You will also give input in the development of an integration strategy.

In addition to managing the data store, you will also be responsible for data migrations as we implement new platforms, retire legacy systems or onboard new processes/user groups into our enterprise systems. You will manage import and export scripts, test script strategies and provide troubleshooting and issue resolution for data migration extracts and uploads. You will clearly communicate issues and be diligent in finding resolutions.

RequirementsBachelor's degree, preferably in information systems.Experience in running dashboards on Power BI, Tableau and Salesforce reporting platforms.Proficiency in utilizing middleware for data transformation and integrations.Minimum of 5 years of advanced technical skills writing APIs.Minimum of 5 years of advanced technical skills in SQL Server Database Management.High level of experience using SQL Server.Knowledge of correct database design and structure Ability to work independently with limited supervision with proven track record in being proactive and in delivering assignments.Excellent analytical skills and technical writing skills.Impeccable interpersonal skills and ability to interact with associates at all levels of the organization.Proven track record in working remotely, including calendar management, contributing and participating in meetings, and responding to requests Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Anaplan (planning platform) a plus.
