The Missions Systems product line, as part of the C4ISR business unit within the Electronics Systems (ES) sector of BAE Systems, is seeking a CM/DM Manager to lead our Configuration/Data Management Team.Because of the needs of this role, work must be conducted at a BAE systems facility.
Responsibilities:
Manage a CM/DM team, responsible for software, hardware, and documentation. Provide expertise and direction in all areas of CM/DM - planning, document development/maintenance, project configuration identification, change control, change/configuration control boards, change request management, status accounting/reporting, software and documentation release activities, and measurement collection/reporting. Conduct periodic audits on conformance to CM/DM practices for all Configuration Items, document findings, and develop and deploy any necessary corrective actions. Actively participate in cross-functional technical teams. Effectively interact with customers and/or functional peer group managers. Establish CM/DM operational objectives. Oversee personnel training and mentoring, and promotion to positions of increased responsibility.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills


Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of direct CM/DM experience. Hold an active security clearance Knowledge of hardware CM, software development lifecycle or project management methodologies Ability to identify and present CM/DM process issues and solutions to team members at all levels. Proven analytical, presentation, and problem solving skills. Experience in understanding, creating, and managing sound processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access) Operate independently, and have the ability to establish a solid working relationship with customers, managers, subordinates, and peers. Possess a thorough understanding of the functional aspects of software development, testing, quality assurance, and process improvement.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills


Experience working in a company operating under an ISO 9001 or similar Quality System. Familiar with Agile Software Development, DevSecOps and Continuous integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Familiar with JIRA, DOORS Understanding of U.S. export laws as they pertain to exporting technical data

Job Description

Responsible for working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives. Responsible for providing thought leadership & strategic thinking to solve business problems by leveraging techniques such as segmentation, optimization, advanced analytics and machine learning. This position will closely monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure goals are met and course correct as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provides thought leadership & strategic thinking to translate business problem into analytical framework(s), and independently recommend actions and provide business insights. Operates as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiment, analysis methodology, modeling & application, and financial impact analysis.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations. Facilitate implementation of work product and ensure accuracy. Establishes and maintains effective performance tracking; identifies improvement opportunity, form hypothesis, propose, design and implement tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization.

  • Leads the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics and machine learning algorithm & recommendation to solve business problems. Lead the development of Analytical capabilities with the aim of creating long-term strategic data/analytics assets for the company.

  • Delivers effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information.

  • Develops and automates reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs.

  • Consistently follows standard work processes and documentation requirements. Recommends improvement to work processes to increase efficiency while maintaining quality of work. Continuously improves technical and leadership skills through training and development.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics or related field

  • 6+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, Marketing Analytics, Optimization, Operations Analytics, Modeling/Data Science or related field

Regeneron data management manager job description

The Manager, Clinical Data Management provides oversight of lead Data Manager(s) on assigned clinical data management projects in multiple therapeutic areas to assure proper planning and execution for data management deliverables that meet Regeneron standards and within timelines. Ensures training when there are direct reports to ensure they have adequate data management skills and are in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Coordinate with Director or Associate Director of Data Management in the development of SOPs, Working Practice, Data Management Manual, and other data management standards.
A typical day might include the following:

•Serves as primary DM contact for assigned therapeutic areas to interact with clinical counterparts for overall project planning and issue resolution. Projects, allocates and prioritizes DM resources within the assigned therapeutic projects.

•May supervise direct DM reports for planning and managing all relevant DM activities within the assigned therapeutic areas for timely and quality deliverables and within the budget. Mentor junior data managers for skill set advancement. If required, leads and performs clinical data management tasks for studies.

•Supervises and ensures all databases are developed, validated and ready for transfer and/or analysis according to policies and procedures, SOP's and work instructions in compliance with applicable regulations.

•Reviews and approves for final archival of project documentation, including, but not limited to, Data Management Manual, CRF Completion Guidelines and validation specifications, and work instructions for assigned projects. Designs and modifies CRF.

•May supervise DM direct reports for the initiation and approval of the building, and validation of clinical databases, subsequent changes in clinical databases and data validation activities. Coordinates with clinical project team for issue resolution.

•Contributes to development of Regeneron DM outsourcing strategies and long-term relationships with outsourcing partners with objective of ensuring data quality and efficiencies through data and process standardization.

•Ensures adequate management of CROs and vendors in the therapeutic projects and coordinates all data management functions.

•Establishes goals, expectations and accountabilities for direct reports. Regularly reviews DM performance in respect to quality and timeliness standards according to Regeneron SOPs and working procedures. Responsible for coaching, managing training and leading the direct reports.

To be considered:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Science or a related field, along with at least 8 or more years of clinical data management experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or health related industry. Previous oncology and/or ophthalmology experience a plus. Previous managerial experience is preferred Directed and comfortable working in teams with the ability to work and operate independently within a tight deadline environment. High degree of creativity, latitude and attention to detail required. Knowledge of all applicable regulations including; CFR, GCP, and ICH Guidelines. Strong communication, leadership and business development skills required. Proficient with appropriate EDC applications and Microsoft Office applications. Software proficiency with CDMS required. Experience with JMP and SAS a plus.
