What You'll Get to Do:
Design, modify, analyze, install, and test internal company/customer data networking systems and/or integrated solutions.

More About the Role:

Develop, design, configure and implement data networks based upon the customer's performance criteria and specifications Conduct systems pre-test and acceptance tests to validate the designed performance criteria Structure mock designs based upon RFP specifications in support of the Bids & Proposal teams Collaborate with government and /or subcontractors at customer site for data network integration into existing infrastructure Develop and perform technical presentations for customers Serve as technical resource at customer briefings Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary Requires extensive travel (up to 75%) including International Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures Perform other duties as required If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $65,300-$134,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. • Validate and monitor operating systems logs for both Windows and Linux
• Validate configuration on the Linux servers after system upgrades and patching.
• Validate installation of application, configuration of roles, features, policies, and setting to ensure they comply with VA requirements.
• Analyze systems attached to a storage area network are configured with Multipath IO Policy to achieve redundancy and optimized performance.
• Review NIC teaming configuration for network redundancy and recommend updates to settings for optimizing throughput and performance.
• Conduct quality assurance on instances of Red Hat Linux on both physical and virtualized instances.
• Validate that Linux authentication with Centrify Software to Windows Domain Controller both support PIV card and NMEA authentication.
• Validate systems that are added to the monitoring tools (SCOM and Solarwinds),

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering, or technical related field.
• 5+ years of professional work experience. 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
• Experience independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment.
• Perform as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms.
• Prior experience with installing, patching, and troubleshooting Linux operating systems.
• Experience performing feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA), DoD legacy health data, and private sector health data.
• Experience implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Ability to obtain a government clearance.
• Experience with scripting, BASH, and Python.
• Knowledge of standard tools and services utilized in enterprise Windows environments to include Active Directory, DNS< DHCP, as related to Linux deployments.

Qualifications

* Strong skills with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting

Required Skills, Experience and Talents

* Excellent knowledge of OSI model
* Solid experience with routing protocols (OSPF/BGP)
* Experience with Cisco operating systems (NX-OS/XR)
* Strong network troubleshooting skills
* Skilled in working with load balancers
* Has worked with firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.)

Desirable Skills, Experience and Talents

* Knowledgeable with VxLAN and EVPN
* Understands telecommunications technologies (MPLS, VPLS, etc.)
* Good understanding of network security (IPSEC/RADIUS/TACACS/Firewall)
* Scripting experience with Python, Ansible, and other cloud technologies a plus
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
