This role supports the implementation and continuous improvement of data governance frameworks, risk controls, and compliance monitoring processes to safeguard sensitive information, enhance data quality, and ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulations. This role is essential in enabling data-driven decision-making as well as building and enforcing data governance standards. This role also supports users in the operation of corporate systems in coordination with various teams to advance investigations into application problems. As a member of the Product Support Team, this role reports to the Director of Risk, Compliance & Support. The base salary range is $120,000 to $130,000 per year. What you'll be doing: * Development, distribution, and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures. * Maintenance of data dictionaries, classification, metadata repositories, and lineage documentation to support discoverability, audit readiness, and risk mitigation. * Training and guidance to business stakeholders, data owners, and data stewards on data governance best practices. * Generating reports and dashboards to track governance performance, data quality, risk indicators, and compliance metrics. * Establish guidelines for user access, platform roles, table creation, integration connection, data exports, and AI/ML access based on data privacy considerations. * Support data quality initiatives including profiling, monitoring, and remediation across revenue and audience data. * Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and other U.S. state laws. * Liaise with Infrastructure, legal, and business teams to resolve governance issues. * Support data risk assessments and contribute to compliance audits. * Operate escalation procedures in the event of an incident. * Troubleshoot, perform triage, and diagnose basic application issues to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime. * Participate in monitoring, triaging, and resolving infrastructure security issues to ensure the stability and security of the company's infrastructure. * Develop and maintain scripts for automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency. * Utilize information technology service management (ITSM) ticketing systems and fulfillment platforms to efficiently manage and resolve service requests and incidents.
