These research locations conduct crop protection/health product characterization activities. As a CHRD Field Sciences Intern at one of our research locations, you will have the opportunity to obtain diverse experiences across crop protection/health product development.
Position duration varies depending on location but typically lasts throughout the summer for three to six months. Possible locations include: Myakka, FL, Johnston, IA, Bethany, MO, Belden, MS, York, NE, Memphis, TN, and Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities - What You'll Do:
You will work as part of a team in one or more of the following research areas: field plot management, product characterization, phenotyping tasks associated with crop protection/trait product development, and/or digital ag projects.
You will assist Field Scientists located at either one of our dedicated research centers or from a home-office environment in the assigned geographic region.
Intern positions provide excellent experience that can be applied to full-time positions in the industry, or in preparation for additional graduate level training in the plant sciences.
Qualifications - What You'll Bring:
* Priority will be given to students that are at least current sophomores at an accredited university. Interns can be undergraduate or graduate students.
