Data Science and Analytics (DSA) is the global team of Data Scientists and Analysts. As a Data Science Intern in DSA, you will drive performance improvement and cost efficiency in our product through a deep understanding of the ML and infra system, and provide a data driven insight and scientific solution.

The Opportunity
The Adobe Data Science team is looking for summer interns. The team applies AI and machine learning techniques to big customer data to address and challenge business problems, such as driving go-to-market strategies, sales prioritization, growing product engagement and customer service improvement.
As a Data Science Engineer Intern, you'll work on modern AI quality measurement, evaluation systems, and user analytics that directly influence how millions of Adobe customers interact with AI-powered product assistants across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
All 2026 Adobe interns will be co-located hybrid. This means that interns will work between their assigned office and home. Interns will be based in the office where their manager and/or team are located, where they will get the most support to ensure collaboration and the best employee experience. Managers and their organization will determine the frequency they need to go into the office to meet priorities.
What You'll Do
Build and implement evaluation frameworks to measure AI Assistant quality across Quality metrics
Build automated evaluation pipelines using LLM-as-a-judge systems and classical ML models
Analyze complex user interaction data to identify patterns in AI Assistant performance and failure modes
Extract and analyze user conversation data to understand customer journeys with AI assistants
What You Need to Succeed
Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering is desired; or equivalent experience required with an expected graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027
Solid understanding of SQL and R/Python
Understanding of statistical modeling/machine learning/ data mining concepts, and a track record solving problems with these methods.
Ability to apply statistical/machine learning techniques such as hypothesis testing, time series forecasting, linear and logistic regression, random forests, etc.
Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
