Responsibilities Support development and implementation of data governance practices for data used across H2FMS analytics, research, and reporting. Assist in defining data ownership, stewardship roles, and governance workflows under Government direction. Ensure governance practices align with H2F objectives and support cross-functional use of data. Support creation and maintenance of data definitions, data dictionaries, metadata, and reference standards. Ensure consistent use of data definitions across scientific, analytic, and software teams. Coordinate with data engineers and analysts to ensure metadata and documentation remain current and accurate. Assist in identifying and addressing data quality issues, including completeness, consistency, and usability. Support definition of data lifecycle practices, including data onboarding, updates, retention, and archival under Government guidance. Help ensure data used for analytics and decision support is traceable and well-documented. Coordinate with analytics, research, and software teams to ensure governance requirements are understood and implemented. Support translation of scientific and analytic data needs into governance artifacts and documentation. Assist the TPM in tracking governance-related tasks, dependencies, and deliverables. Contribute to governance documentation, standard operating procedures, and reference materials. Support adherence to applicable Government data governance, privacy, and usage requirements. Assist with preparation of briefings and materials that communicate data governance practices to stakeholders.
