Kamis is in search of Data Monitoring and Quality Analysts for a new project supporting the US Federal Government. This position is expected to be onsite in Washington DC. Selected candidates will be required to pass a thorough federal background investigation in order to receive a Public Trust clearance. Candidates with an existing or prior Public Trust are desired, but not required.
Job Responsibilities
Serve on the Operations Data Quality Monitoring team, managing a data warehouse that houses financial and application data for a mission-critical government system.
Provide team support through communications, reporting, quality assurance reviews, and training initiatives.
Design and deliver training sessions on data models and SQL for government clients.
Respond to ad-hoc requests from the client by developing queries and reports that offer actionable business insights and performance metrics.
Build and maintain data quality monitoring reports, offering continuous feedback and supporting updates as issues are identified and resolved.
Communicate data quality concerns to both internal teams and government stakeholders.
Maintain and update procedural documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Participate in planning and reviewing data cleanup efforts.
Analyze monitoring reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain client-facing training materials and support monthly SQL and data model training sessions.
Ensure data integrity within the streaming module and monitor the onboarding of new tables for validation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience (minimum four years in lieu of a degree).
2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
Proficiency in SQL is required.
Experience with Python is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

* Consults with the senior team members for recommended fixes.
* Assist junior team members when they need assistance.
* Perform assigned QC tasks.
* Scan paper documents.
* Track and update stats and statuses for all work in the tracking program.
* Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting.
* This is a full-time position (40 hours a week).
* This is currently a HYBRID work position located at a secured facility in Washington, DC.
Required:

**In this role, you will:**
+ Be a system matter expert (SME) for Configuration Management processes and implementation to include changes to disclosures via revisions, design changes, and clean up revisions.

+ Provide oversight of shipbuilder change management processes and performance while providing expert input into COLUMBIA (CLB) Class program management on change execution.

+ Manage a project so that it remains on budget, on schedule, and meets the required quality level.
+ Impliment CLB Class TVD reduction efforts (e.g. proper classification of non-conformance documentation for inclusion in the SDI)
+ Oversee the unique configuration management processes including Missile Tube configuration file and UK DDTR processes.
+ Interface with multiple groups and teams within PMS 397 involved with CLB Class configuration management.
**Qualifications**
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ An active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ 8-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production support, or engineering configuration management.
+ Strong understanding of configuration management principles, change management processes, and technical data packages.
+ Proven experience in creating and managing Technical Variance Documents (TVDs) and handling non-conformance processes.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and Word.
+ Strong analytical skills to assess part compatibility and vendor substitution needs.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and cross-organizational communication.
+ Experience working with DoD or Navy technical documentation standards.
+ Ability to travel up to 10%.
**Additional desired experience:**
+ Experience with DoD Integrated Data Environments (IDE) and collaborative data systems.
+ Experience working with or for Team Submarine or PMS 397.
+ Knowledge of NAVSEA technical instructions, drawings, and document control processes.
