This position requires deep expertise in enterprise security systems, Windows server environments (2016-2022), virtual systems (Vsphere), F5 Load Balancing, SSL certificate management, and Powershell scripting. The ideal candidate will also possess strong networking skills, including a solid understanding of the OSI model, SSH access to Cisco and Juniper gear, network firewall rules, VLANs, and more. The role demands hands-on experience in mid-to-large enterprise environments, technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners to ensure the successful deployment and support of security technologies.Responsibilities Project & Technical Support Support programming, commissioning, and drive new build projects to SGL and FDOB. Provide expert support for Windows servers (2016-2022), virtual systems (Vsphere), F5 Load Balancing, SSL certificates, and Powershell scripting. Assist with networking tasks, including troubleshooting the OSI model, SSH into Cisco and Juniper gear, managing network firewall rules, and VLAN configuration. Coordinate with other teams to obtain network and Archibus information. Enforce and follow documented installation standards and new builds processes (DHCP reservations, MAC whitelisting, load sheets, etc.). Assist in basic network troubleshooting as it relates to security systems and technology. Security Systems Expertise Provide system support to Integrators/LSPs in the field for security technologies (Access Control, Video Management Systems, Intercoms, Key Management). Comprehensive knowledge of security systems and technology, including: Software House/CCure supported hardware (iStar panels, REX, card readers, locks, door contacts, etc.) Commend Intercom Systems Genetec Video Management Systems Understanding of how security hardware interacts with network/IP Field troubleshooting techniques for low voltage systems (ground faults, shorts, use of test equipment like multimeter) Windows OS proficiency (most security applications are Windows dependent) Heavy focus on troubleshooting and process of elimination Project Management & Leadership Manage project schedules, including aggressive build timelines for intercoms and key management. Oversee project management of Integrator/LSP resources, coordinating testing and commissioning. Lead team's day-to-day activities and drive projects to successful completion. Effectively prioritize workload, tasks, and projects for oneself and the team. Document and execute system changes. Client, Vendor, and Team Collaboration Communicate internally with technology partners, project leads, and externally with Integrator Field Teams. Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions. Manage client expectations and deepen client relationships. Interface with vendors, including opening work orders for hardware malfunctions. Collaborate with trusted partners, vendors, other teams, and levels of leadership to resolve system outages and maintain applications. Administration & Documentation Define core security policies and documentation procedures. Ensure proper administration of assigned tasks, including documentation, closure, root cause analysis, incident profiling, tagging, and escalation. Proficient in the process for final test and acceptance of security systems and handover. Additional Support Occasionally provide PC/Mac support for end users via phone or email. Ability to travel up to 25% to remote offices for end user and project support. Ability to work outside of regular business hours to support business needs. Qualifications 5-7+ years experience in Security Systems Technology (Intercoms, Key Management, Integrator/LSP resources, etc.) Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a mid-large enterprise environment (20+ sites) 2+ years of experience as a Lead, Supervisor, or Manager Direct project management and team leadership experience Troubleshooting of security devices and basic installation understanding Completed technical training or equivalent field experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Written and verbal communication skills Exceptional professionalism and customer-service skills Passionate about technology and networking, with ability to learn and develop independently Agile and exhibits a strong sense of urgency Systems: Proficient with Software House CCure 9000, Genetec, and physical security hardware (access control panels, IP cameras, sensors, electric locks, etc.) Proficient in the process for final test and acceptance of security systems and handover Task management and administration discipline Additional Technical Requirements: Support Windows servers (2016-2022) Experience with virtual systems (Vsphere) F5 Load Balancing SSL certificate management Powershell scripting Networking knowledge: OSI model, SSH into Cisco and Juniper gear, network firewall rules, VLANs, etc. Access Control Software: House CCure 9000 or equivalent certification in access control and video systems Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Business, or 5+ years of work experience in the field.
