Data Integrity Coordinator
This position involves researching and analyzing gifts to ensure appropriate donor credit and proper fund designation, as well as identifying discrepancies and adjusting records as deemed necessary. This position generates tax receipts daily and annually, in accordance with applicable regulations. The DI Coordinator is also responsible for reconciling gifts recorded in the CRM with deposits in coordination with the Cashier's office, updating donor records based on supporting gift documentation and transforming data received through data loads from various on campus.
In addition, this position is also responsible for preparing pledges and recurring gifts for data integration, producing, and reviewing gift receipts, communicating with university departments, such as payroll, annual giving and other third-party vendor services, and maintaining data on constituent contact preferences, alumni activities, foreign gifts, and various other data points to ensure successful engagement, participation and fundraising outcomes.
Essential Functions
Gift Accounting
Provide timely and accurate gift processing. Handle complex donations including stocks, wire transfers, planned gifts, Donor Advised Fund gifts, matching gifts and other transaction types as needed.
Maintain comprehensive electronic gift back up in an organized and accessible manner.
Scan checks to deposit directly to the bank; prepare cash and foreign check deposits for the bank and process related batches, produce and send gift receipts.
Complete integrity projects as assigned (correcting recognition credits, standardizing attribute fields, pledge application/adjustments, updating appeal codes).
Records and Database Management
Maintain biographical information, research various sources to ensure the accuracy of data and similar projects as assigned. Ensure biographical information for donors is complete and accurate.
Ensure data integrity through monitoring, implementation and streamlining of effective procedures; assist in identifying and troubleshooting data integration issues.
Assist in identifying data discrepancies and complete data integrity projects by transforming and enhancing data (correcting or removing unneeded information, standardizing fields such as salutations or street names, renaming, moving, and combining columns to ensure usability).

Responsibilities
The Government has a requirement for collection of data by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Fishery Monitoring and Research Division (FMRD), as required by the Northeast Region's fishery management plans and as mandated by the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act and the Sustainable Fisheries Act.
Data Debriefing will work closely and cooperatively with the FMRD to provide timely review of trip data as well as applying codes to data fields as necessary prior to passing paper logs to data entry clerks for keypunching or prior to flagging trip data requiring review by data auditors.
The contractor shall provide data debriefing support, including the following:
Contractor shall review/edit electronic data uploads and raw data logs for completeness and accuracy within established timelines (i.e., 45 days from last day of month land for NEFOP and IFS trips; 7 days from land date for Sector trips)
Contractor shall contact observers to verify inconsistencies and solve data recording problems as needed.
Contractor shall maintain records on individual observers to be used in assessing overall data quality and schedule observer debriefings as necessary.
Contractor shall complete evaluations of each observer's work on a per trip basis. Submit weekly
Contractor shall keep the Data Quality Specialist, data quality program manager and data managers informed of important and serious data recording issues.
Contractor shall assist with routine audits and checks on trip data prior to the trip being loaded to the observer database.
Contractor shall assist with preparations for Observer Trainings including observer exercises, homework assignments, workshops, quizzes, exams and presentations as needed.
Contractor shall carry the after-hours phone during the week and weekend for after-hours observer assistance on a rotating schedule.
Expected hours of coverage are until 8:00 pm on weeknights and from 8:30 - 5:00 pm on weekends.
Contractor shall deploy as needed on shadow trips, trip trainer trips and probation/priority (Data Quality) trips.
Contractor may be assigned periodic regional outreach events.
Contractor may participate on research cruises aboard NOAA research vessels.
Contractor shall inspect, maintain (i.e. repair, calibrate, build), and distribute observer gear as needed.

Qualifications

Position Overview:
Beam is looking for a highly energetic Data Analytics and Integration Specialist to join our growing IT team. The Data Analytics and Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere platform. The role ensures seamless data flow between cloud and on-premise systems, supporting enterprise applications and business processes. The candidate will be heavily involved in data migration and integration efforts, particularly using Boomi, SAP, LabVantage LIMS, MES systems and Amazon Redshift Data Warehousing.
Responsibilities:
* ETL Development & Data Integration - Design and implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from diverse sources while ensuring data quality and Strong experience in Boomi development to create, test, and deploy integrations, including data capture, data mapping, transformations, testing and validation.
* AWS & Cloud Data Management - Manage and optimize AWS-based data pipelines, specifically handling data movement from S3 buckets to Leverage AWS services such as S3, IAM, Lambda, Glue, and others for seamless data processing and storage.
* Data Modeling and Design - Develop efficient data models and database schemas within Amazon Redshift, considering data redundancy, normalization, and performance optimization.
* Data Security and Governance - Implement data security measures within Redshift, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and access control policies.
* Documentation & Reporting - Develop technical documentation for data warehouse architecture, data models, ETL processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 12+ years of relevant experience.
* Experience with other ETL Tools.
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices.
* Boomi Integration Development: Hands-on experience developing integrations using Boomi, including data mapping, transformations, testing, and validation.
* SQL Proficiency: Extensive experience writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation, aggregation, and analysis within relational databases.
* Amazon Redshift Expertise: Strong understanding of Redshift architecture, data loading mechanisms, and query optimization techniques for managing large-scale data warehouses.
* AWS & Cloud Data Warehousing: Experience migrating and managing data from S3 buckets to Redshift and working with other AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM).
* Data Migration & ETL Experience: experience migrating data from SAP to LabVantage LIMS and MES to SAP and Boomi highly preferred.
* Onsite requirements: Candidates are expected to come onsite 2 days per week and as needed to complete job duties.
The salary range below reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, scope of job, internal comparisons, and market data.
Beam Pay Range
$100,000-$135,000 USD
