JOB PURPOSE:
The Product Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all new and existing product item records, descriptions, specifications, promotions, and messages within the Product Information Management system and brand and ecommerce website are consistently up-to-date, accurate and follow established company templates and industry best practices. Creates, maintains, and delivers high-quality product data that is complete, accurate, consistent, relevant, accessible, and up to date, including key data fields, attributes, product descriptions, images, and documents needed to support product sales.
Researches, gathers, and prepares existing and new product data from sources that have the best quality data (ERP, marketing systems, suppliers), to curate and translate the data for our customers and for our internal channels.

Initiates and leads product information processes for a broad set of internal customers (Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales and Sales Operations), to facilitate growth of the business, ensure accuracy of product data, and enable meeting project deadlines.
Is accountable for verifying the accuracy of data before it is published to ensure the highest degree of data integrity and quality, performs data integrity audits as needed.
Researches and analyzes multiple sources in order to determine correct operational data values and attributes.
Manages product growth by creatively finding ways to ensure product information processes will scale.
Develops feedback to improve internal processes, cross-functional processes, and system performance.
Operates the Product Information Management (PIM) database management system, product database, and various other product information spreadsheets and databases, whilst adhering to existing filing system protocols.

Performs work of broad scope and complexity with a high degree of independence. Incumbent provides the highest organizational level of technical support associated with analyzing, designing, developing, installing, repairing, fabricating, maintaining, modifying, or evaluating the most complex systems for which the FAA is responsible.
Incumbent is recognized as the technical expert on legacy and newly developed systems within a large facility or multiple facilities over a large geographical area. Work requires maintaining technical expertise on complex systems and/or emerging technology, systems interrelationships and management of the NAS.
Responsibilities include the integration, restoration, testing and evaluation of new advanced service or service components, hardware/software systems and processes. Performs a variety of functions directly relating to the operation of the NAS. Focus is on availability and reliability of the services and products provided to the users of the NAS. Serves as the principal technical specialist, a project manager, on the major projects and/or program areas, resolving unique technical problems without managerial intervention, providing coordination and suggesting solutions.
Works within established policies and procedures to select the most effective and efficient approach or to develop new solutions. Carries out work in accordance with overall plans and objectives of the organization, resolving problems as they arise and making adjustments as necessary to deal with unanticipated situations and organizational needs. This work includes responsibility for evaluating diagnostic data from multiple systems that are integrated to support a network of services or service products. Can be called upon to assist with repair and/or restore service or systems, providing guidance on the availability of backup systems, and to upward report the status of critical events.
Evaluation of this data is used for correcting deficiencies on Contractor Acceptance Inspection (CAI) or Joint Acceptance Inspection (JAi),FPIP, FSEP, Redline Drawings, Peabody and DMT reports dealing with LCMs. LADs, LEMs and resolving event based certification issues necessary for the timely restoration of equipment, systems/services with the NAS. Monitors other employees as a project or team leader.
Responsible for all aspects of SSC projects from initial planning, drawing and specifications review, implementation, Joint Acceptance Inspection, and disposition of assets. Acts as SSC point of contact for all projects completed locally or by outside contractors.
Identifies requirements (staffing funds, materials, and equipment) to accomplish projects and tracks the use of project resources. Provides training, mentoring, guidance and advice to FAA employees, contractors, and other organizations as needed. Uses technical expertise and understanding of user and stakeholder needs to prioritize SSC workload. Integrates Operational Risk Management (ORM) into all planned activities ensuring that all customers and users of services are included and involved in implementation and planning.
Fully understands and utilizes proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and personal safety practices when engaged in all restoration and maintenance activities helping to set the example of safe work practices for others in the organization.
Provides training, mentoring, guidance and advice to other employees, technicians, and trainees regarding difficult technical or operational issues. Serves as an ATSS who specializes in the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS). Performs a variety of functions directly related to the operation of the NAS. Independently evaluates the functional status of assigned subsystems, systems and facilities. Plans, coordinates, and resolves unique technical problems without managerial intervention, providing coordination and suggesting solutions, making adjustments as necessary to deal with system outages and performance deterioration.
Recognized as a principal technical specialist on legacy and newly developed systems within a large facility or multiple facilities over a large geographical area. Performs work on broad scope and complexity with a high degree of independence. Responsibilities include integration, restoration, testing an evaluation of new advanced services or service components, hardware/software systems and processes. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to protect the integrity of all components and systems to provide NAS service delivery. Initiates action to install, repair or restore systems and services.
As a principal specialist or team leader for major projects and/or program areas, resolves unique technical problems without managerial intervention, providing coordination and suggesting solutions. Carries out work in accordance with overall plans and objectives of the organization, resolving problems as they arise and making adjustments as necessary to deal with unanticipated situations and organizational needs. This work includes responsibility for evaluating diagnostic data from multiple systems that are integrated to support a network of services of service products. Evaluation of this data is used for correcting deficiencies on Contractor Acceptance Inspection/Joint Acceptance Inspection, and timely resolution of equipment, systems or services with the NAS.
Review and evaluates all automation tickets. Works with air traffic and other stakeholders to eliminate erroneous tickets before forwarding to OSF.
Acts in a security and administration role for STARS system. Conducts day to day monitoring and management of system and user activity that affect STARS information security, performs the day to day hands on operational and security duties, performs security administration performance checks, reviews/manages user accounts, files, and directories, reviews and analyze audit logs, attends the STARS Systems Specialist course, installs and reconfigures approved software and adaptations, performs user account management, and follows all agency policy and guidance on the STARS systems.
ATSS must possess expert knowledge, skill or ability to perform the operation with the installation, maintenance, modification, repair, troubleshooting, flight check and certification of Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS). This discipline is heavily engaged in operations and maintenance of industrial computer systems in the corporate environment, industrial systems to include both hardware and software applications. In addition, this position maintains other electrical/mechanical equipment/systems necessary to ensure reliability of facilities on and off airports with the network of the NAS.
